Break out the Patagonia boys and get cozy, the geese are back in a Corolla

Still have yet to see one of these in the wild, must be very rare

Mark "I've outgrown owning a GR Carolla and own a new red Civic Type R" from Savagegeese.

So basically this is a great street car when left stock. As a track car this sounds like a nightmare.

Truly, Mark is Tuxmat's Strongest Warrior. A first in class promoter.
  • Referencing the soul of a mid ‘00s Japanese car, it would be awesome to see a comparison to the STi and Evo of that vintage.
  • Sad to see the GRC still having overheating issues. As a GRY owner in Germany since 2021 I have experienced overheating only a couple of times out of at least 10 track day. Some easy fixes (3D printed airflow box stuck underneath and heat wrapping the exhaust) resolved it. There also also larger oil pans for the diffs and even a diff oiler cooler, hopefully they soon come out for GRC

A desk fan in the engine bay helps.
  • It’s nice that this car exists in 2024, but they should have resolved some of those design shortcomings before release.

Thank you for releasing videos on Mondays. Unironically brightens my day to have your wonderful content to look forward to on an otherwise typically dreadful weekday.

I drive a 9 year old FRS. I'm 77 yo myself. My guess is that 90% of people have never, ever driven a vehicle which is actually fun to drive. Yes one can get in a car and adjust all the controls to fit oneself...but is it fun ? In most all cases the answer would be no. I also own two Maverick pickups (don't ask why). They are simple to drive and easy to see out of, yet they are simply well working appliances. After one year of having the FRS off the road, I'm back to it. The fun never ends. Gimme more fun to drive cars at a reasonable price, I'm game.

So appreciative of the fact that you guys are going against the grain in your continued support of fun, manual transmission cars. That market segment is on its dying breath, but we may yet bring it back to life again.

Tuxmats are actually legit, it’s an absolute no brainer. They feel extremely highly quality, cover the entire carpet so you don’t have to worry about any wear or damage, and they provide all the things you need to install them. The only downside is it’s not entirely plug and play to get them perfectly installed but there’s no way around that for the coverage they provide. 10/10 gold bullion club.

A man can wish! Love following your progress with this thing. Looking forward to seeing more GRC’s at cars and coffees over the summer

I can't put into words how great of a review this video is. The praise and criticism was so well thought out
  • Guys, I love these vids. Its very rare we get to hear you men talk about performance modifications. This is a cool extra layer you've added here. Really like to see this side of y'all

Thanks to you guys, two weeks ago I took my LS6 powered E46 ZHP to Ultima and they really impressed me. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Thanks !
