Kevin McGarry and Jaeda Lily Miller open up exclusively to ET’s Deidre Behar about their heartwarming friendship that formed after landing their roles on ‘When Calls the Heart.’ Miller, who plays the spunky and sometimes rebellious Allie, recalls the audition process and her chemistry test opposite McGarry, who plays her protective uncle, Mountie Nathan Grant. The actors reveal how they’re similar and different from the characters they play on screen and gush over what impresses them most about one another. They also explain how they pass the time during breaks on set, which they say includes playing music together and even doing TikTok dances! McGarry shows the camera the thoughtful and hilarious holiday gift Miller gave him, while the young actress opens up about her career aspirations and shares the action franchise she’d love to someday join. ‘When Calls the Heart’ airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.
