The only thing more depressing than a 30-foot Gillig is a dotted 30-foot Gillig! Still, for what seems like a pretty small town, this is a pretty impressive agency - seven day a week service isn't something I would've expected!
  • Stormy and Starbucks go together like Miles and Snyder's! I can't believe Mario got trapped as a display at a random Illinois dead mall for eternity....I will never forgive Bowser for this. That mall apparently opened in August 1990 and well, that checks out. While the buses are hourly, considering the bike lanes and the nice-looking transit center, Kankakee has potential! But yeah, their system's logo is truly...graphic design is my passion. Apparently this system won the Success in Enhancing Ridership Award from the FTA in both 2008 and 2009....so that's something.

10:22 believe you me, we can go way faster than that. I drive the Manteno route occasionally and I’ve gone as fast as almost 70 going down route 50, just to make it remotely on time.

I’m just happy that 30ft Gillig was an old bus with a nice sounding engine for us viewers to enjoy xD One way to immediately tell a really old Gillig is the rounded door windows. Those were only on Gilligs 2007 or before.

That beeping sound that was driving you crazy were the turn signals

30ft Gilligs like the one you got on the route 3 are super common in the Twin Cities, but not with a back door. But they do also have the high seats at the front.

When the mall is more of a bus station that happens to have a mall next to it
