Former combat medic. Ptsd, depression, anxiety. Heroin addict now 8 years clean. MARIJUANA SAVED MY LIFE AND KEEPS ME CLEAN EVERYDAY.
  • @DigitalDrugzzz
I’m very proud of Bo, he’s got that look in his eyes that says he actually wants to be clean.
  • Mushrooms did wonders in my life. Over the course of my life, I've suffered from uncontrollable, depression, anxiety, alcohol, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for a long time and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. This is something that really needs to be used globally to help people with similar health challenges. I've been sober for 6 years and have my life back.

Weed is the reason I’m still clean off dope.. been away from H since 2017 I’m grateful to still be here and be breathing today.. weed is what saved my life 🙏🏼
  • Until you’ve experienced the effects of opioid addiction you can’t knock or judge what a recovering addict does to stay away from opioids 😇

I'm a current addict, and hearing that Harvard doctor say "it makes sense to me, too, and I wish them well" meant a lot. That's humility to say *my profession obviously doesn't have the answer, so I'm all for anybody trying essentially ANYTHING, because anything is better than the situation we've currently got."

My heart goes out to anyone struggling with addiction. May God give you the strength of a thousand men to fight the battle.

“It makes sense to me too.” Hearing the Harvard educated doctor say that is a powerful statement
  • I was on crack, heroin and methadone for 24 years. I got fed up of programs failing for me. So I decided to do it all myself. I stopped everything but the methadone. I was on 90 ml. Tapered it down to 1 ml over about a year. I took 1 ml for two weeks then stopped. I had zero withdrawal. Been clean about 10 years now.

I love seeing all these comments of people recovering and dealing with this together. We are outcast, discounted because of "our choices" and when we choose the least harmful of our options, we are still put in a class. But we aren't a class, we are people, with stories and life experience different from everyone else. It hurts how some others will cut off communication based on their bias on cannabis users, further alienating people that might take something from or might need a conversation. Much love❤❤❤

Solid content. This not only hits that algorithm bite, but it’s also incredibly informative. Honestly, cannabis brought me out of a very very dark place. I remember that one evening. I smoked, I listened to music, and stared at myself for hours in the mirror. And I cried. I laughed. I talked to myself. And ever since then… genuinely. I’m a better human. I’m not perfect, but I’m better. I think there was a lot of unconscious introspection that was unlocked via cannabis. I get sick to my stomach thinking about who I was. I wasn’t violent, but I was vile. I had such… distaste for everyone and everything. I wasn’t well. To this day I will forever remember my cannabis night. That changed me. For the better.

Years ago, I hurt my back at work and went on worker's comp. I had a doctor who told me, "Do you need anything? I can give you anything you want." I always said no, because I knew too many people who were prescribed opiates and were addicted, besides, I didn't like how they made me feel. I had him prescribe me the biggest Motrins he could. I would go to the office to get my prescription every month and the waiting room was packed, plus a line out the door, with addicts waiting for their scripts. When I went to my comp hearings, the comp insurance stopped paying me because the IME's said I was malingering because I wasn't taking opiates. I must not be in that much pain if I'm only taking Motrins. The judge asked why I wasn't taking them and I told her why. She said, "That's good enough for me," and ordered them to keep paying me.

This video is worth so much more credit than anyones realises. It started in my 20s.. I suffer badly from EDS and muscle degeneration. My joints all dislocate daily. Pain is unbearable. Put me on oxy 10 year ago and just upped and upped dose until i barely recognised myself anymore. I BEGGED my gp to give me morphine instaead as its less than half the strength. Now I've been cutting it down myself and just struggle with the pain, marijuana helps immensely. Im so fed up of being treat like a junkie when its the proffesionals put you on it for money sakes. I quit the booze 13year in november so i know i have the will power. The pharmaceutical companies have so much blood on their hands .😢 thankyou so much for sharing this video ❤ wegot this guy's.
  • I’m a methadone patient who uses cannabis daily. I recovered and came back from the street shooting speedballs daily. I now have a job, savings, investments, a fiancée and good relationship with my children. I will always be an addict and alcoholic. I went to AA for years too and haven’t drank for 20 years. Opiates were harder to quit than liquor.

2 years sober after a 30 year drinking career. Weed helped immensely. Living in Holland with our coffeeshops is a blessing
  • @MagDumpMarc

  • @Madison_magical
Cannabis is an EXIT, not a gateway!!! This is a great example on why cannabis education is SO important! I love the work they are doing and I hope they’re able to keep it up for years to come. ❤
