I don't think anyone is talking enough about the fact that when mr clown told his "joke" they understood him, which has a terrifying implication that mr clowns laughter is some kind of language.

Fact: Jack, the tall police dude might possibly have Coulrophobia (Fear of clowns) so thats why he got frightened and shot Mr. Clown multiple times

So looking back at previous episodes, Mr Clone seems to be a last super natural character from the original two shorts to get not get an episode. And considering his direct connection with the cult, which seem like it's about to become more prevalent. I think the Clown will be the second last episode to the Eyes' second episode, which is almost defiantly happening.
