HOW TO SUBMIT A SONG FOR CRITIQUE:
1. Join the Gear Gods public DISCORD server: â–ºdiscord.gg/QeAfRe6JS5
2. Drop the Soundcloud, YouTube, Dropbox, or Spotify link to your song in the #friday-paid-critique-read-description channel with your YouTube AND Discord handle, and what kind of feedback you're looking for (song structure, mix, lyrics, or general - anything you want really) -
NO GOOGLE DRIVE LINKS (The Tregle Rule) - No Bandcamp links (it doesn't have a volume control)
3. Donate $20 USD ($35 USD gets you to the front of the line) with this link: bit.ly/STRIMDONO3
or using SuperChat, but YouTube takes 30% of that :(
5. If your song is longer than 5 minutes, no guarantees I will listen to the whole thing.
6. I go in order of donations, not the order you submitted in Discord.
7. No WMG songs, they will get the stream replay blocked
8. Cover songs are okay as long as they're already on YouTube
9. If you are sending a video, IT MAY BE ONSCREEN so no real violence, nudity, graphic stuff of any kind, anything that will get my video flagged etc.

RULES FOR CLAIMING A FREEBIE

First - there must be a freebie AVAILABLE - that means someone has donated FOR you. Look on the screen, there is a counter of number of freebies available.

1. Song must have VOCALS.
NO COVERS - also cannot be for a song we've already heard, even as a revision (the Ruined Effigy rule). Cannot be a song I reacted to in a contest video (the Ivan Idea rule).
2. You can't have submitted already today, preferably wouldn't have submitted otherwise
3. Follow submission guidelines above except the song goes in the Friday Freebies channel on Discord. Read the rules there and then sit tight.

  • I am sorta of the mind that with drum libraries like anything by GGD, there is no reason your drums should sound bad. or be out of time haha.
