Queen, to me, has the attitude of Mettaton, the flamboyance of Roulxs Kaard, and the borderline innocent humor of Papyrus.

I like to imagine that Queen was actually completely level headed and calm when she was first brought into existence but constant exposure to millions and millions of memes warped her into a personification of the moden-day internet's sense of humor.

I think my favorite part about Queen is that, yes, as everyone notes, she absolutely has shitposting/internet meme energy and it's fantastic But it would have been easy, so easy, to get there by basically having her quote every latest IRL meme. It's not like there'd be a shortage of material either! The audience would understand exactly what Toby would have been going for! In that moment, at least. Because it's the nature of memes to proliferate like mad, but it's also the nature of memes to have a very short lifespan. Taking that route would have been felt cheap, and made what makes her character great short-lived But Toby manages to encapsulate the fun and the things we like about all those memes without actually using a single one in Queen's dialogue Which is sooo much harder to do but absolutely well worth the effort Just Wow the writing is amazing and I love it to bits, excellent work Toby

This chapter was a fucking fever dream and I am all for it.

I really love how the Queen contrasts the King. The King only showed up at the end and was extremely hateable, however the Queen is present from the beginning and is absolutely hilarious. Never change, Toby Dog
