  • This is the most detailed segment I have ever seen on Zombies by anyone. It goes into every aspect of this phenomena. Quite fascinating!
  • I saw a Zumbe in Haiti on JJ Desalines road in 1995 during Operation Uphold Democracy. She was emaciated and buck naked just staggering down the street. The crowd and traffic parted like the Red Sea - a hard thing to do in Haiti - she had sunken, dead eyes and as she passed right by us, if she had turned her head and looked at me, I believe I wouldā€™ve freaked. As asked my Terp ā€œWTF was that???ā€ ā€œZumbeā€ he replied, terrified, pressed back in his seat. I also delivered a Witch to prison once but thatā€™s a different story. The whole place is one big Halloween Haunted House.
  • @DrPhydeux
The Serpent and the Rainbow was also made into a movie; and it was pretty intense as i recall
  • Damn, that was a lot of knowledge! You had to spend considerable time researching, studying and just putting that all together. Bravo, well-done sir!
  • Moral of the story is: Donā€™t ever trust anyone , even your own family, as they may turn you into a zombie slave !!! # TRUSTNOONE!!!
  • @Hollie0981
I smacked the like button so hard that a coin popped out. I now have possession of the like button's soul. Excellent episode as always, I've never seen a video that covered zombies like this!

Fun facts: ā€¢The soldiers in 'Night of the Living Dead' were were actual soldiers from the PA National Guard. ā€¢The reason that the movie was filmed in B&W is because they couldn't afford color film.
  • Stories of people declared dead but 'came to life" later are frequent enough. One of my longtime co-workers was an Air Force medic/tech during Vietnam. He usually was in a hospital but sometimes would work on ferrying the wounded back to the US on a C-141. One flight he went into the rear compartment of the plane to check if anything had shifted after take-off. That compartment was used for body bags of dead soldiers. The aisle was tight. A body bag inches away suddenly moved and made a noise. Leo would've jumped out of his skin if that were possible. He grabbed help and got the "dead"guy into the care area and got him stabilized. When they landed on the West Coast the "dead"guy was doing okay, as much as "okay" you could be in those circumstances. He wondered what ever happened to the guy but didn't write his name down. He had no idea how long the guy had been "dead" and then in the body bag or other details.

I think the wisest thing that Kirkland the writer of The Walking Dead dead was at the very beginning of every issue there was a blurb stating that this takes place in a world that had never even heard of the concept of a zombie. The living dead was a complete and total novelty to everybody in The Walking Dead
  • Becoming a real zombie somehow scares me more than becoming living dead

"They're coming to GET you, Barbara...!, " [Great Video!!]

The woods are dangerous! Love your channel, Iā€™m borderline addicted to all your channels lol. Thank you for your dedication to something most of the world still refuses to believe.much love and respect good sir!
  • Swedes do well in the cold weather. My husband is half Swedish. In winter, he often wears shorts! In heavy snow, he'll wear pants and a spring season coat. If colder, he'll wear his winter season coat. They are also known to sweat in a sauna and then go jump in a snow bank or body of ice-cold water! They have a winter swim meet outside in the cove of a bay in Sweden. Finnish people are well known to do this sort of thing as well! We're in Northern California near the Oregon border. No sauna. There are no significant snow banks outside. We could drive to Mt. Shasta, Trinity Alps, or Mt. Ashland in the winter. There may be Swedes in or near Minnesota, who jump into snow banks after time in the sauna. šŸ˜Š
  • Does anybody remember The serpent and the rainbow and they would blow that dust on people and they literally would become zombies? I think it was a voodoo practiced that they made the powder
  • Felisha's symptoms are characteristic of people who have eaten the Mysterious Sbarro pizza.
  • Man I love your stuff. Well researched, written and presented.
  • @paulakennedy701
Serpent and the Rainbow book was also made into a movie back in the 80's.
  • Iā€™ve known Zombies were real for many many years. The real stories are scary.
  • Zombies are kinda like vampires. You kill them the same way. Wooden stake, silver bullet or a Sbarro pizza in a dominoes box.
