Correction: Tales is being headed by TWO TMNT veterans! Chris Yost wrote several episodes for the 2003 show (in Seasons 3 through 5) and also a single episode ("The Wrath of Tiger Claw") for the 2012 show! He was also the story editor for my personal favorite animated Marvel adaptation (The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes) and wrote one of my favorite comic runs (2012 Scarlet Spider), so I'm ALL KINDS of hyped for what he can do heading up a TMNT show! Also: ten bucks that James Sie plays Splinter in this instead of Jackie Chan! He's got to keep up his fill-in streak!

I would not be at all surprised if James Sie voices Master Splinter in this animated series. (He has been Jackie Chan's voice double for lower budget projects since the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon)

The movie animation made me at first a little bit jaded because I thought it was ripping off the success of stylized cartoons ala Spider-Verse but it turned out pretty well done and entertaining. I'm excited for the first TMNT cartoon in a while.

Honestly glad they’re having actual melee in the game, especially with the Turtles. I might even wanna buy it just cause I’m a fan and melee is genuinely just more creative than ranged.
