There's a level in Super Mario 3D World where the flag is right there but then it just grows wings and keeps flying away. It's a very hard level but it's pretty fun. For those of you curious it's called The Great Flag Pole and it's in the first bonus world, World Star

I'm no expert, but in the second troll level (Kerzo Block), it looks like the first spike kills when you walk off the Bullet Bill cannons. Perhaps the cannon height is putting you a subpixel down or something, low enough to trigger collision with the spike, but jumping and landing on the semisolid keeps you high enough to avoid them?

God I love watching Dave put his foot in his mouth for 20 minutes. Did he ever realize he could just go back up into the area with the fire flower at the bobomb with the P switch behind it?

I'm still sitting here flabbergasted at the second level. The fact that running changes your hitbox lol, never woulda guessed. Oh and hating Tainted Love?? Were going to have a problem Dave, from one old man to another.

Also big shoutout to stevooo with the small details for the Mario Maker 1 style troll, including having the checkpoint give a mushroom powerup automatically and having the forced damage after.
