From Sarasota...You are going to have a lot a lot a lot a lot...........of rain we had rain this morning, we have flooding in many places....
  • We need to have animal shelters in place for these events in different parts of the state, the Humane Shelter in in Greenville is saying they are overwhelmed. Why is this not planned ahead of time. If you can help them, they are asking for foster families to show up there.

The "official" channels are not telling the most important things we need to know. Where the eye of the storm is, how fast it is traveling, when high and low tides are, etc, etc...... Had to check 4 or 5 different sources to get the info. Before going to bed, the eye wasn't going to be here in Charleston until Wednesday, but listening to these reports you'd think it's already passed. Our poor kids have no clue how to track a hurricane, please give us the tools to teach them like we used to have in the 80's.

Why are so many of you so mean? Evidently from lots and lots of practice. Could you manage to take your focus off that and use your extra time helping some neighbors?

Most people turn on their headlights when its raining and or partially dark outside, too many don’t however in South Carolina. Many are in late model vehicles that have lights that come automatically, so some people actually turn these off for what ever unknown reasons during mentioned conditions. Georgia has a state law that requires lights on when raining. Signs are posted along Georgia roads and the law has existed for decades. That is good of Georgia. South Carolina also needs this law, but actually should not have to be a law anywhere, it should simply be c common sense thing with anyone possessing a drivers license from any given DMV.
