Everyone should have a homeland that they love as much as I love mine. As a white of European descent, I salute you, and all other warrior peoples of the world. May we be friends, and join forces against those who wish to take our freedom. Very interesting to study African martial arts, needs more appreciation.
  • so cool to see someone keeping martial tradition alive, specialy by devoting time and studies
  • I love this routine, it really shows off the movement style of this particular spear! Good stuff!

The martial practices of other cultures has always seemed amazing to me. Seeing the different forms that Nations have come up with is awesome.

You have very good footwork and your drills are very fluid. Muscle memory baby, gotta remember those moves.

the music sounds very similar to mizmar music we have in the hijaz (western) region of Saudi Arabia. i always knew our mizmar dances were a mix of African and Arab traditions and were at one point a living martial arts system. Iv also seen videos of real fights breaking out at mizmars and the way the guys fought and held the stick was very similar to the tahtib shown in your channel.
