The Bahamas’ director general of tourism has offered her sympathies to the family of Taylor Casey, a 41-year-old Chicago woman who local authorities say has not been seen for six days. Casey disappeared from a yoga retreat on Paradise Island — five miles from Nassau — on June 19. An active police investigation is currently underway. NewsNation's senior national correspondent Brian Entin visits the retreat to get some answers.

  • Id say its dangerous that, seemingly, theres nothing happening about the woman missing ? The staff person sounded flat
  • I saw a video of a woman who was going on vacation by herself and she had her hairdresser sew an air tag into her weave just in case anything happens to her apple can trace her. That's what woman traveling alone need to consider doing.

Frightening. I'm glad her family has gone there to look. i find it alarming that no posters of her have been put up anywhere.
  • 😮😮😮, these yoga retreats are becoming infamous for their mysterious disappearances; a couple of years it happened in Guatemala !!

A lack of response from LE and the resorts is far more scary than the actual crimes that occur, imo
  • I would love to know more about the other missing people the reporter mentions in this clip. Sounds like this might be a pattern.

I love Brian. He really just goes everywhere.

I was in the Bahamas and right next to the Atlantis is the Rio. I stayed there and I was with my husband and every single time he left my side they were trying to give me drugs or pick me up and I just said no nobody harmed me. The water is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever been in very strong waves, but this makes me sad. You could never be alone as a woman there absolutely not. I feel so bad for the family.

not another one , not the first woman to go missing from a yoga retreat , remeber the woman lost from a kayak trip at a yoga retreat and the friends all flew home acting like nothing happened

We need more details. Where did she go missing from Specifically? Was she at the ashram, on the beach? At a restaurant? On a tour? where?

Women need to stop going away to these Islands alone period. Stay on the resort and always have others around you. I wouldn't travel anywhere now, it's not the climate for it, things are to bad and wicked now period, it's sad, but it is what it is.
  • Please stop going away to these Islands alone! Take someone with you when you travel.
  • @IndigoCosmic
Absolutely disgusting that they don't have flyers or a search party. These people don't give two fcks. This is why I don't agree with women traveling alone and these so called yoga retreats are questionable.
  • @teeresagai
As one who has study and practice Yoga I find it quit disturbing when talking to the staff and other attendees at the retreat no one knew she was missing or seemed concern she was missing. So much for the practice of Ahisma.
  • @charles9573
They seem very unconcerned in the Bahamas about her disappearance! Woman shouldn't be traveling alone like this...too dangerous!
