Beautiful tribute. KG is a trip. The day Kobe died I had been watching his defensive highlights before my adult league game. When I got to the gym, we met at half court and prayed together and gave respect to Kobe and his daughter. It was a gym full of grown men, 35+ crying like children. It's weird to say you felt like you knew someone you'd never met but Kobe was like that. I remember when he came out of high school and followed his entire career. I even played against T-Mac in high school when he was with Mount Zion. Kobe and T-Mac were like brothers is how I viewed them. Big bro/Little bro. RIP Kobe.

I never put anyone in MJ’s orbit… But that man Kobe was damn near the closest I’ve ever seen. RIP to A goat 💯

I can hear Kobe stories for 24/7 because nothing changes in-between his example of his dedication, his brotherhood, his humor, his will, and his sacrifice to just be the greatest he could be. All these great players were either next to Kobe, or played with him. And he was the same with everyone, and he’s created memories with them just like he did with us. Smile, anger, discipline all of it in one with Kobe. His journey was part of many’s childhood whether his rookie year or his last 5. RIP Kobe Bean Bryant and Gigi Bryant. 🕊️

Cried like a baby when I heard Kobe died and I wasn’t even a huge fan of him. But I respected his game. RIP Legend

I know this sounds crazy because I obviously didn’t know Kobe personally he’s a celebrity but man when he passed I really felt empty for months and still do at times if I’m being honest kobe gave me so much inspiration throughout my childhood as a child I felt out of place in certain situations bean’s story and how he adapted to difficult situations always helped me get through what I was going through I love you and will always appreciate you kobe ❤️

His death hit different. Here in Los Angeles, we felt that Kobe belonged to us because some people watched him grow up, and some of us grew up with him. I love you, Kobe Bean. Thank you for your greatness. You will live forever. #BeanForever

Kobe's my All-Time favorite Athlete. I love how Stak lights up about every story everybody is telling! Even better knowing & seeing Kobe had that type of respect for Stak back.

That alone GOATED this show. All love Stak and Matt. RIP Mamba.

It’s crazy I never met Kobe but I felt like he was family. I never felt the pain of losing someone that I have never met. I was truly saddened and in shock when I heard about the untimely death of my man Kobe his baby girl and his friends. Kobe I want to say thank you my favorite Laker of all time and my favorite role model I loved the passion that you had about everything in your life! Thank you Kobe happy birthday my brother
  • Love hearing kobe stories. I sucked at bball so i played football, but i never wanted to be like or imitate another athlete like i did kobe. He'll forever be my favorite athlete❤

Its still hard to believe such a talent and intelligent human being is no longer with us. Ive seen a lot of basketball since 1975 and he is by far my favorite player. Ive learned so much from him when he was here and more since he departed the earth
