I always hear people talking about how great Reigens english va is, but can we talk about how great Mobs is as well??? Or is it just me?? I personally think its really fitting, and perfectly adorable

‼️SPOILERS‼️ when Mob said he always knew Reigen was a fraud in season 2, you realize when rewatching this episode Mob is constantly mocking Reigen for not doing the job himself & being slightly passive aggressive which i just now noticed.

it's great how much this episode establishes, from Mobs power, lack of physical strength, family life, his social status to Reigans con scheme yet despite that how he genuinely cares about Mobs safety!

I love how much dubbed has progressed. The voice actors are getting much better and they know the anime voice style. Use to always watch subbed except for the exception of stuff like naruto yugioh , dbz, until super came along. Now these dubbed versions are definitely getting better over time.

This dub is so underrated, especially episode 7 of season 2, its phenomena. If Chris doesn't get nominated for dub voice actor of the year I'ma riot.

I didn't realize how much Mob's VA progressed in the show until rewatching this. Comparing his neutral voice here to well into show it's more monotone and lower pitched. Pitching it a bit higher fits Mob's adorableness honestly. And maybe being less monotone was intentional to show he's showing his emotions more as the show goes on.

2:26 oh my god he's so dimissive. Its so easy to dismiss some of the dialogue. This show is a gem
