My wife has a mild case of CP. Slight difficulty walking, and requires a hearing aid. Shes able to do most anything she wants. She does sometimes use a cane when walking, but still moves at a normal pace. She jogs, swims, and plays curling. She works as an accountant (CPA). She and I went skydiving together last summer. No problems. I found her on a Catholic dating website in 2019. She wrote on her profile that she accepts the challenges her condition gives her, and dedicates the suffering to God. "Lord, as you suffered for me, I dedicate this hardship to you to help me remember what you endured for us....". She also wrote she is actually thankful for her condition. When I read her profile, I was almost instantly in love with her attitude about it. I wrote her saying I felt attracted to her not despite her CP, but because of it. We were married in March last year. I'm 49, she's 38. I am passionately in love with her, and proud to be with her, even with her cane.
  • You go girl keep up the good work. I also have the same condition she has and that doesn’t stop me.
  • I also have cerebral palsy and its common in my left side, specifically my left leg and somtimes right leg. It takes me more time to do things and i may do them differently, but i do them. I'm 23 and i played basketball in middle/highschool, practice martial arts, and lived a good life so far. Kudos to Regan, I see myself in you so much! Others won't understand and I don't understand your situations to the fullest, but stick with it.

I really enjoyed your video, I'm 55, I was diagnosed with a mild case of CP when I was around 2, I mainly affected my balance and motor skill and caused me to have a erratic gait. As I got into my 30's and 40's I started having issues with osteoarthritis in my knees, lower back and in my hands and fingers, and also became an amputee on the right leg, first half the foot then 10 yrs later below the knee. I used a cane for short distances and a rollator around the house, when shopping I always use a grocery cart.

Reagan, I think you’re amazing keep believing in yourself never stop
  • Excellent! Congratulations to Reagan for her inspiration to those with similar handicaps. I’ve worked with multiple students with CP. Learning different ways of accomplishing same tasks is very individualized. 🎉cheers for continued success!
  • I got cerebral palsy myself. This is amazing to see. For me I love to play my guitar. It help me when I have a bad day. For me it’s very frustrating sometimes to have Cerebral palsy to I wouldn’t be me if I did have it

  • You need to slowly watch for hip dysplasia. I’m 27 now and I need a hip replacement. I even broke my hip when I was 15 and the doctors told me nothing about this that I was supposed to be monitored every couple of years to make sure my hips did not go out of socket if you love sports
