>5 years old in 2011 physically shrivels up and ages

-"White man been here" -"How do you know?" -"VHS effects and eerie music over minecraft"

The worst part about this pack is when you finally get into the loop of building a house, or trying to make a farm, and you get really invested and engaged in it, and while you're in the middle of planning the build herobrine shows up and scares the shit out of you

It's freaking me out that kids born in 2008 - 2009 are looking back at Minecraft in retrospect like I do but they're a decade younger than me.

21:58 was the only jumpscare for me 😭
-
This was a fantastic fucking video, thanks for playing. Sorry about the end, it's gonna be fixed in the next update
-
That "RRAAAGHH" got me more than herobrine lol
-
The creepy pastas make sm more sense when you remember how quiet minecraft was
-
actually the wierd compression glitch with the blocks is a shader made by the modpack, it simulates the errors that PS1 did
-
It feels unreal to hear someone say they were 5 yrs old in 2011.

11:30 Herobrine, upper mid-right corner

20:30 You might have said you knew what it was already and I just missed it, but just in case: The sign is in Swedish, it basically just translates to "I'm watching you" or "I can see you" (If I'm reading it right), also, the stairs are based on a folklore/creepypasta where people are finding stairs that lead to nowhere in forests, and people who go up them end up go missing and aren't found.

3:50 Anemoia: The 'Fake Nostalgia Effect' or the feeling of comfortably remembering something that you never lived to see nor experienced before, sometimes as if it were something that you could have experienced but you didn't. I think we all can have that feeling when it comes to Minecraft since it's an old classic yet it's still present in our past lives of childhood and simple discovering of videogames and media in general.
-
REMEMBER: Every version of Minecraft is personalized!
-
20:37 "Jag tittar på dig" = "I'm looking at you" in Swedish That's actually very scary to me; being looked at by a Swede
-
@4:40 The PS1 texture unit had limitations. That distortion is mimicking the PS1 hardware.
-
Wrf youtube recommeendations actually sent me a good video from a low key creator for once instead of trash from big channels

Just if you were wondering I think the random Stairs are a reference to the story of "I'm a search and rescue officer for the us forest service" It's a pretty popular Reddit horror story that actually got a bunch of audio video adaptations on YouTube. One of the many anomalies the protagonist encounters is a bunch of "Stairs" in the Forest, and that actually DO exist in real life Forest. The story is very vague and eerie, but it basically states to NOT go up them as weird things happen when you do.

Something about this feels more like minecraft than it feels like now.
