This is probably One of the saddest things I've seen. Seeing Mamma Narga is getting all kinds of scarred eaach time and the offspring being more and more concerned just breaks my heart

5 years already and still giving me tears and a warm feeling

A fact to keep us a bit happy: The guild is there to regulate hunting activities, we primarily hunt when the monster threatens the surrounding wildlife. So we probably witnessed poaching.

To be fair, we don’t see what happens to the baby Narga, and it’s likely that it was taken in by the Guild. As the Guild seeks to maintain the balance between Humans and Nature, and only allow hunting of designated Monsters after they do a bit of research on them, they were likely aware that Nargacuga was a mother based on it’s habits. So even if the mother was slain, the baby was probably rescued so that it could be released back into the wild once it was stronger. It’s why the Guild exists after all, to make sure that stuff like this doesn’t go unchecked.

Theory, the baby grew up into a natural silverwind nargacuga, being protected by both legitimate guild members and nearby packmates

Don't care that this video is 3 years old, given that Nargacuga is my favorite monster in the entire series, this video breaks my heart everytime I watch it, but I love it

I remember seeing this some time ago and it broke my heart. Since then I've captured every monster I've ever run into; not only are there more rewards, but my soul can be at peace.

my heart broke when the baby was gone in the last shot knowing full well it had hit the re-spawn screen (if ya know what i mean) i only ever hunted narga once .... once in the main story quest in mhw ........ this only encourages that habit .......... rip baby narga my heart and soul lies with you

Happy Ending: The Baby Nargacuga grew up strong, and the mama Nargacuga went to the Rotten Vale so that with her dying breath, she can supply energy to the new world.

It just got sadder each time the mother left—

That evasion +3 is really worth it.

I understand now why we have tempered versions.

I still come back and rewatch this every few months. Mizut and Narga are my top two faves. :( I never slay Nargacuga. I capture, or fail the run.
