I've compiled a reading list of my favourite history books via the Amazon influencer program. If you do choose to purchase any of these incredible sources of information then Amazon will send me a tiny fraction of the earnings (as long as you do it through the link) (this means more and better content in the future) I'll keep adding to and updating the list as time goes on:-

Hey guys. Goes without saying this is a controversial subject. I don't follow any organised religion myself but I'm fascinated by religion as a concept. Let's keep it civil in the comments please. I'm a one man team and this took a ridiculous amount of time to make. Please like and comment if you enjoyed it & by all means let me know in the comments if you didn't. Back to Early Medieval Britain next week. One guy is putting the History Channel to shame right here. Amazing work! Fantastic presentation on all fronts.
  • Can you imagine what was lost in the great alexandria library...its unimaginable
  • @petelosuaniu
I thought you must’ve been part of some big documentary production company with all sorts of resources to make this. However I’ve seen your pinned comment just now that reveals you’re just a one-man crew. 😮. This documentary is outstanding. There should be global YouTube awards for this kind of production.
  • I know you made this 2 years ago but I just wanted to say that you do a brilliant job. Also regarding your top pinned comment, as a Christian myself I found none of what you had said offensive at all. For when it comes to history being objective while also open minded is key to discovering/revealing truth and exciting information. Your videos are Better than a movie, thanks for all you do.

I have been missing this level research and commitment to teaching. History channel used to be like this
  • Only half way thru and I just have to pause to say this is one of the most informative documentaries I've ever watched. The epitome of what I search for in a good documentary. Bravo Zulu.
  • @miguelsalami
Fascinating discovery of the dead Sea Scrolls. The thought of them being hidden & preserved for thousands of years is simply Amazing in itself.
  • @DrBe-zn5fv
a YT producer who can choose and manage music properly is a rare thing. Nice work.
  • @nefwaenre
i'm a History lover through and through, but i can't help but see how unbiased is your narrative! The Dead Sea Scrolls are such sensitive yet eye opening/institution destroying evidences and yet you kept it strictly to the history, to it's origins and how it came to be. Highly informative and kept me engaged all throughout. Not seen such documentary presentation ever. Thank YOU!!

Blessings to all who stumble upon this message. In the grand scheme of life, your strength and courage will prevail. 🙏💪

Every time I hear a story about the Dead Sea Scrolls, the circumstances of their discovery changes. A shepherd looking for stray sheep threw a rock into the cave to scare any out, and heard the sound of pottery breaking, is the most prevalent.
  • I'm sorry but, is this the most well produced channel on Youtube or what?! Truly incredible work.
  • @jwalker6260
My Grandfather was a minister. He’d have sermons during the day and have long debates about the Apocrypha with me at night. I think about him everyday...
  • @randyfields563
I always learn something new when the Bible is the topic. What a great service you have gave us to enjoy, thank you very much.
  • @pop6997
Fascinating! The 'wonder' I have ( as a believer, Catholic ) in the 'providence' of the timing and finding of these scrolls that give us a window into history is a marvel! Thank you for your work putting this together, the narration was great, so too the images. Very well done!
  • @vipassana123
Hey man, I just want to say that this felt like a high quality real documentary that should be on any network. Going to donate to your Patreon. Thanks again.
  • @classicrob16
I really love your documentaries, whenever I watch a professionally made documentary there is so much filler and unnecessary dramatic editing.
  • That ending sequence with the music legitimately gave me chills! Thanks for the documentary on these, I've been curious about the scrolls ever since I encountered them on wikipedia and I'm glad I found this video to get a deeper look into them.
  • Bless those who found this extraodinary piece of history xx I hope they were rewarded or at least their names, village and culture acknowledged for being the 1st to find these!!!
