The buddy bounce back works, but you had to already hit the ball in the target circle for it to count as a modifier.

Your aim was TRAGIC on this vid🤣 also, I think the bounce back feature only gets excellent if that’s what you threw before the pokemon attacks you

Congrats on your work here and I done this test myself using an Ultra Ball on a Galar bird and I was lucky to get it. I still try it out on pokemon but some good catches, others not times not so much. But thanks again for theses pokemon catching tips.

When I saw that Brandon was trying to test out the excellent throw feature, I knew it was going to be golden. Not just because Brandon can't throw an excellent ball to save his life, but that he'll go mad if he got a Galarian Articuno and had to miss it. Didn't disappoint. Love you Mystic7!

Also to get an excellent buddy bounce for the ball you'll have to have hit within the circle before it's knocked away and your buddy will hit it back as an excellent only if you did first

Well, I just caught 2 pokemon in a row and had one of these shake once and caught throws and while I was trying to hit an excellent, none were even nice throws and I still got the animation of catching within 1 shake

The buddy bounce always hits the same spot as you threw. So if you hit excellent, it hits it too. If you dont, it never does it either

I know how it works. When you get a special throw like nice, great or excellent u dont get it. But when you hit it on the edge of the circle and still get the special throw thing u get a critical catch. Try it for yourselves.
