Trying The World's MOST Beautiful Makeup... Is It Jeffree Star Approved?!

The packaging looks amazing! People in Asia do prefer more naturally looking “no makeup, makeup” looks. So colors tend to be more saturated on the skin, and lipsticks are usually just blotted onto lips for an innocent look. That’s just the vibe in Asia.

No...the elephant in the room is the fact you look refreshed, so much happier and you look like a whole new person - the hair, the brows, your features are really coming through. I am actually stunned to see how you look, in the best ways. But what I am more stunned about is your ENERGY. I hope I'm not counting the chickens before they hatch (ranch reference) but I can almost sense some major growth, MATURITY development, and some self-love connecting with this absence. I think you moving away from all the drama, that toxic city, and everyone around you, separating completely is the best thing you could have done. I also did this, I grew so much as a person when I disconnected completely and moved away. A REAL fresh start. The internet is the other thing, taking that break is so needed and I think over 3/4 of people don't think to do that because it's become a necessity, an addiction, a "must-have". Then the ones like yourself, myself, and many others - we create businesses based online - so, of course, it makes it 100x harder. But I think this separation you have done has really grown you as a person and I hope this is truly the case because 2022 is really all about rebirth. I hope in this year I can work hard enough to continue saving to escape and have my own ranch (I grew up in the country and miss it terribly). I bought this makeup last year and it does not disappoint. Even more stunning in person. The shadows are more sheer but on purpose. The lipstick is gorgeous. Literally everything is awesome. I can't say enough good things about their makeup.

Small facts: this brand is really affordable in China, especially with holiday sale. The reason why US price is a bit higher is because all the taxes 😂 I mean A LOT of taxes

the lipstick is actually a part of chinese culture! A lock that actually symbolises something that the Immortal who is in charge of love will use to lock two person's fate together, creating a love between them. It's known as a 同心锁 (One-heart lock or Concentric lock or love lock). Giving this to your lover is like a promise of love for an eternity, allowing two hearts to become one for an eternity etc. My translation skills aren't the greatest but I'm trying my best to actually explain all these hahaha like It's a common gift for boyfriends to give their girlfriends such lipsticks since it's like a love language thing

This brand of make up is called 花西子(huaxizi), Florasis (implying flower goddess) in English. It's a rather new but famous Chinese brand that brands themselves for using natural herbs and ingredients to produce good and clean make up. There's many good info on Wikipedia (in Chinese though) if you want to know more about the brand before buying their products.

We as a culture are so expectant of big and bold so to us we expect the colours to give so much pigmentation that we have to blend it down but they are the opposite in their makeup. If you watch any Korean, Chinese, or Japanese traditional makeup it looks as if they don’t have any makeup on. They use makeup to only enhance their features and give them a very beautiful within looks. The package and the makeup itself are stunning and I think it’s important to have a different viewpoint when considering this brand.

The collection is by far the most beautiful I've ever seen so far packaging wise. I'm not that impressed with the colour payoffs on the eyeshadows. But then again they are from China. And their makeup culture is way more subtle and softer than the western makeup culture which is more pigmented, punchy, intense and very in-your-face colour payoffs. As consumers, its more about making choices and knowing what you like and establishing your own makeup style. Some people like softer applications so this collection is for those people.

Hello Jeffree, thank you for your review. i thought the same about the eyeshadow as well, but i recently bought a lot of Florasis products and were gifted their brushes. their brushes were actually made of synthetic fibre and picks up their pigments really well....the fibres were dense, and you will find that some of the glittery or metalic eye shadow is somewhat cream in nature in which case the synthetic fibres complimented the performance of the es. FYI Each palette has an engraving that tells of a poem or legend.

For those curious as to the packaging of the lipstick, they're designed in the shape of ancient Chinese locks that were used in the past. The "key" part you push to get the lipstick out is where the actual key goes. You put the key in, push it and the locking mechanism comes off. So cool to see they integrated it into a lipstick container design.

Jeffree with these brows is GORGEOUS. Still an alien fantasy always- so gorgeous.
