Brilliant, I was trying to find out how easy it was to do this and voila! Thanks for posting.

Thanks so much for this, got lost transferring from thamelink to Elizabeth line this Friday, had to come out of the station to get back 'in'.

Well here I am thinking it was some convoluted hallway like the Paddington Liz to Bakerloo transfer. Literally one stair/escalator to go northbound and 2 more to go southbound.
  • @bigjaffa02
I noticed changing from Liz to tube, I was signed up to ground level, out the new entrance, back in the old entrance and back down the usual way. I wondered if I could've just walked along the Thameslink platform and clearly one can.
  • I was certainly impressed by the quick and easy transfer to the Thameslink westbound platform (on the opening day BTW!) Also just up and over to the eastbound. Also quite like the two entrances at street level... Underground easier from one, Thameslink and Elizabeth Line from the other. Goes without saying that the EL new section as a whole is pretty impressive, even if you're not particularly interested in railways.

Did you have to “tap-out” of the Elizabeth Line to reach the ThamesLink platform? (the video doesn’t show it)

Thank you so much for the video!! I will travel to london this summer and wonder if I travel to Farringdon station by Elizabeth line, is it necessary to exit the gate and enter again to reach thameslink?😊😊

Good quality video. But you don't actually show the journey over the footbridge to/from the southbound Thameslink or Metropolitan/Hammersmith underground line, although you do show the sign at 1:58. But that, in itself, should also have on it the fact that you can get to the Thameslink southbound, which it doesn't.

Hi! I’m so confused sorry. I’ll be traveling from heathrow airport to Farringdon via Elizabeth line. Then i’ll be taking thameslink platform 4 in farringdon to St. Pancras. Is this the same direction?

Very good. Can this be used to change from Elizabeth Line to Circle Line without exiting the station? Thanks.

Thanks for the video! I will be visiting London for the first time in May and this is helpful. If I'm coming from West Ealing on the Elizabeth Line to Gatwick Airport, do I need to go out to the street and touch in again to transfer to Thameslink? Thank you kindly!

Transit from eastbound Elizabeth (from LHR) to southbound thameslink (to Brighton) I think I need paper ticket from farringdon to Brighton (beyond contact zone). If i get advance day ticket online How do I tap out of Elizabeth without going up and out? The video show a yellow tap near lift, but it is not clear it is a valid tapout. Britrail and Tfl tell me to contact the other for information on how to transfer. Also Heathrow Connect is not selling the 5.50 ticket anymore on their website. Have they colluded to not undercut Elizabeth?

So which Elizabeth Line pl;atform is adjacent to Northbound Thameslink? Is it East or is it West? All the videos online do not tell you this.
  • @kingredwald
This video only shows the route from the Elizabeth line to the northbound platform 4 Thameslink. The southbound platform 3 has been completely ignored!
