I am loving the look of crisp shirts on women - so I wear them, too. In pure linen, which is the only fabric bearable in the heat of Sicily where I live. Luckily I like ironing! Most of the time, I am on a pedal bike, so I add shorts - also preferably in linen. Recently I got a super pair of longer pleated shorts in chocolate brown. Not quite bermudas, but a good length for a 70-year-old. I tuck in the shirt or tie it in a knot; then add a belt to dress it up. However, I went for a walk yesterday evening. Put on a cropped striped racer back ribbed top, with white linen wide leg jeans. A guy gave me an appreciative look, nearly falling off his bike 😅

I wear high neck ribbed tanks all the time…I have straight, angular shoulders and my friends say I look better in spaghetti strap scoop necks, but don’t care, wear what you like, confidence is everything!
