On the spider thing... I've handled different species of wolf spiders and orb weavers, and neither of them contain venom that're harmful to people (unless they're allergic). Wolf spiders are ground pursuit/scent-focused hunters, while orb weavers are hanging/weaving spiders. Most wolf spiders are nocturnal hunters and prefer dark spaces and will bite under stress, while most orb weavers are making webs in corners and between plants (including fruit and vegetable plants) to trap insects, and will either skitter off or just explore your hand/arm if you ever hold one. Quite nice animals overall.

For the hotel one, getting a room with 3 single beds would’ve been the best solutions to avoid issues

9:32. In this AITA, it talks about three spiders: the orb weaver, the wolf spider, and the black widow. Funny enough, these are all in a video game called Grounded, and are VERY scary. The game is actually really fun and even good for speed running, most of the runs including killing a wolf spider or black widow. You should play it when you get a chance.

Speed bump should be the nickname, then the actual name should be something the daughter agrees with

Speezy and Ben calling wolf spiders huge for that spider post threw me off so bad bc where I live the wolf spiders are itty bitty. Like size of a quarter small; the largest I've personally seen was one probably the size of the tip of my finger that got inside my house (I had to trap it in a cup to put outside)

"even if you're not arachnophobic, seeing a wolf spider is scary" that doesn't make him the AH though, seeing almost any spider is scary, plus they're the ones bothering him, the spiders just wanna chill, they're not harming anything, they only bite in self defense, you know, like a black widow except not deadly

Tbh if I would see a wolf spider I would just scream for my life not having time to say wolf spider black widow or something and I'm arachnofobic so I probably would cry and call somebody
