This video is about to be 3 years old now, and no school is built. Some of you guys have some explaining to do.

Here's a weird observation. After reading a lot of the comments here I find it very odd that both positive and negative comments about the issues raised in the video are built around some very ugly false observations about black people. In any other context I'd call them racist. Comments such as "black people don't ask questions", "black people only tear each other down", "black women are always trying to tear down black men", "black people behave like crabs in a barrel", "black people don't support each other", "black people are easily decieved"... etc. Is there a way to critique a specific idea or a specific person's ideas without making it a general attack that assigns negative characteristics to an entire race of people? We are a race of millions. It's absolutely ludicrous to take the few interactions you've had with individuals of a particular race and come away thinking that everyone of that race must behave, act, or react exactly like the people did in those situations. Don't turn this situation with Dr Johnson into an evaluation of black pathology just to make your point. It's important to have dicussions like this and be hyper critical of all points of view. Any idea or leader who can not stand the pressure of public criticism weren't very strong to begin with. In my experience I've found it's always better to put your faith in ideas, not men.

shit call me a hater but this man is asking for 4 million dollars and theres no record as to where the money is or where its going and ya dont care? i worked at jobs where we had monthly revenue reports.

When you question the pastor, the flock will attack you.
  • @skitz160
If she can't provide evidence that she's donated money then this video is a waste of time to me nothing more than black man bashing which boyce's channel seems to be all about lately

People have also gotten offended when I ask them why they are voting for Hillary.

I like Umar, but the sista is bringing up valid points. We should be able to have conversation like this.
  • A private school requiring 4 million dollars and on campus living is going to likely be unaffordable for the majority of folks to send their kids too and could only handle a very small amount of students and then there are issues of accreditation regarding the curriculum. Furthermore if this is too be a profitable business, his business plan would allow him to secure funds from the banks. Unless his plans for the school are much bigger and the 4 million is the downpayment, it still would likely be unaffordable for the average child. He could hire teachers across america and use church facilities to run summer schools right now to help raise the funds while helping more than the exclusive elite that would go to his school. Not only does he have to have a business plan, he needs building plans a location to purchase and build, permits. If he could get all that then he can back the build with enrollment rather than a go fund me. Getting folks to enroll there kids in line with a construction completion date would back the viability of the business. There are too many issues and lack of transparency.

What Happened to Dr. Umar Johnson's School? nothing!!!! he took the money and ran!
  • @MMcCree7
Well apparently he hasn't raised the amount of funds he needs. Soooo if he hasn't reached the goal, how can you say "Where's the school?"
  • @Sexsess
Dr. Johnson where is my damn money?!
  • @wackaloo123
It’s February 2019: Still no school, what a surprise. But folks still believe the swindler!
  • @nitelillie
We don't control our politics, economics, media, schools, or neighborhoods. He is one person. I have bigger issues with much more than Dr Umar Johnson lol... He's trying to do some tangible stuff on a large scale. It takes time, proper resources and patience. Why so much extra scutiny here? Have you thought this out some?
  • @scevans8756
There's nothing wrong with asking questions
  • @SGzCMH
She's an intelligent black woman, and sadly MANY over emotional, illogical, and arrogant black people especially black men despised that.
  • @disdainface
Maria was right all along to ask these questions. Here we are two years later and both online donation campaigns (Paypal and Gofundme) have disappeared, the money raised is unaccounted for, and there is still no school. Now Umar is facing the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychologists for falsely representing himself as a licensed psychologist and revocation of 501c4 status for the FDMG Academy for failure to file the proper paperwork for three years. There is no school and there likely will never be a school.
