In 1957 my mother told me the Gulf Stream was going to change. She said that she would not be here to see this change, but that I would. So for me to hear Oren Lyons talk here, is reminiscent of the wisdom my mother imparted, in one of the moments I actually cherish of my mother.

I really enjoyed listening to this elder talk about the one that brought direction to man on earth. My imagination was going into drive as I pictured how that must of looked a 1000 years ago. He talked about every living creature as having their own important society within the great scheme of things. It was fascinating. I will never look at a sweetcorn as just a vegetable again, but a life force with greatness. Thank you!
