Turkish really friendly. It helps that your are friendly and engaging people too. Hats off👍🏻
  • We visited Konya on our way to Cappadocia, the museum is beautiful and Turkish people come from all over Turkey to pray by the coffin of Rümï . We had the best pïdë , ekmek and salata ever in a tiny place there. Konya is so friendly and would love to go back one day.

“Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.” “A candle doesn’t lose any of its light by lighting up another candle.” Act like the sun in love and compassion. Act like a river in friendship and fraternity! Act like the night in covering the faults of others! Act like the soil in humility and selflessness Act like dead one in anger and furry! Either act in accordence with the way you look, or look in accordance with the way you act! (Either exist as you are or be as you look.) Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi

As a Turkish man living in the UK, I’ve been away from my beloved hometown Konya for 1,5 years now. Thanks for sharing all of its beauties in the most magnificent way!

Brilliant, I’ve never stopped in Konya but we will now 🤠😍
  • Konya is one of the best places to eat in Anatolian region. Enjoy that! You can also enjoy "Firin Kebabi", "Tirit", "Bamya Çorbası" or "Şiş Kebap". Also "Arabaşı Çorbası" is really good, although it is not really from Konya.

First of all, I would like to thank you for vlogging my hometown Konya and being a pioneer in announcing it to the world. I like that you call us Turks very friendly, but you should also know that you are a very sincere, smiling, sweet and unprejudiced couple. I learned that you have been in Turkey for 15 months in this first video I watched and I will immediately look at your other videos. As you said, western tourists do not prefer to come to Konya. I think the reason for this is because Konya is a spiritual and religious city and is a somewhat arid city geographically as a visual feast. There is almost no forest, but our mayor is trying to close this gap by making lots of parks, planting trees in the parks and planting grass. In addition, Konya is the 7th metropolitan city of Turkey. I would also like to say that the place where men and mostly old uncles sit and drink tea is called a coffee house. Usually, after retirement, they sit outside the mosque and chat. That's why those who come to Konya from other provinces call it a retired city. :D Konya is also not preferred for young people because it is a city without nightlife. Usually after 10 pm everyone goes home, there are few people outside. Our roads are very wide and straight. It is a very calm and peaceful city. Since I've talked about my hometown enough, I would like to say this. There are few English speaking parts in Turkey and unfortunately I'm getting into it. That's why I translate from google translate. I hope you translated it correctly. :D

Thanks for taking us around such a fascinating ancient city. Konya is magical. The drone shots of the mosque were splendid as were the shots of the interior of the holy places. Yummy food, sumit forever!

Mashallah what a history city 🌆 in turkey 🇹🇷 amazing mosque 🕌 I love it 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷👏👏👏✊👍👍👍
  • What a lovely city Konya is. The shopping district reminded me of strolling around the Plaka in Athens. I can't believe that tortoise was just walking along the sidewalk like that, thank you for giving it a better place to roam. Enjoy the rest of your week, see you Sunday.
