    @Sami The Clip was shot by My Friend Eni. She and her crew was travelling to Goa from Delhi. They didmt get any update regatding the delay and have to wait at the airport gor 10 Hours. Later 2 Hours n the flight. After 2 Hours also it was keep getting Delayed. Passangers were asking for food and water but Staff was way to rude with everyone. The guy who hit him was going gor his honeymoon. Heated argumanets were going on and finally that guy hit the crrw member. Eni said yes it was weong but the way staff was behaving was not right too

    Hi Sambhavna, I had no empathy for any flight crew until I married a pilot. As a pilot wife I must share here that if there is anybody who is more eager to get home earlier than the passengers it’s the crew. For them it’s a job with odd hours & challenging schedules & even they want to finish their work and be home on time. They have no national holidays, public holidays or holidays for birthdays and anniversaries. They don’t get home at 6pm every day & often miss festivals & special occasions in the family. It’s an extremely demanding job. As a wife I wait all day for the second my husband will land, I keep checking the flight status online & the moment for when my single tick will become a double tick on WhatsApp. While I totally understand that people make plans around their flight schedules, imagine that we plan our every day based on these schedules. Aise mein half an hour ka delay bhi irritates the crew (& their families) who are dying to get home, let alone half a day. Upar se they have to handle the angry passengers, troubled cabin crew & frustrated airport staff. Phir land karke traffic mein phasso till you reach home and all your days planning is a waste. Being slapped for doing your duty when factors like weather & security are not in your hands, when airport politics and rules & regulations are beyond your control - it’s just not fair. The pilot who got attacked would have gone home that day feeling so terrible and small for doing nothing but his duty. And nobody deserves to feel that way. If he had got clearance for take off from all departments, let me tell you there was no way he would keep his aircraft on ground for so long. It was only and only because of factors out of his control that he didn’t fly. Passengers often forget ki zameen pe hain toh at least zinda toh hain - pilots pe pressure daal ke destination ki jagah aasman mein hi reh gaye toh phir kya hoga? Jaan hai toh jahaan hai na! We are all becoming so quick to react nowadays, even the annoyed passenger has caused himself trouble for a lifetime. None of this was worth it. There is a glitch in the system which is something even the pilots are aware of but can’t do anything about. If anything hopefully this incident will highlight the loopholes & the authorities will try to find a suitable solution for all parties involved.

    Hey, you can watch Flying Beast’s video, he has explained it very well from both perspectives. He has mentioned mistakes from every side. From the ground staff, the airport staff, the guy who slapped, the cockpit door kept open, technicalities, ATC and also about the need for a procedure to let a passenger de-board. It will give you a better perspective directly from the person who was in aviation.

  • i saw a tweet which said "when we passengers asked many questions to the crew, the pilot said you guys are asking so many questions isliye delay hua" after hearing this answer the passenger hit the pilot
  • I was at Varasani airport for 10 hours. My original flight got cancelled on previous day to booked Sunday's flight. But thand Mai kulfi jamne ke bad ultimately at 7.30pm flight flew after 7 hours delay. Only 3 flights flew from varanasi that day. I think Bhairav Baba ki kripa other wise I would be in that cold alone for next few days. P S they did provided us with food and water at the airport.

    Airline people shld show gratitude, not all are bad but some have a very bad attitude. They need to know that the customers or passengers are paying their hard earned money to travel so value that
  • Dear #Sambhavna Mam & #Avinash Sir, Please check #Gaurav_Taneja Sir's vlog on this matter of 16th Jan,2024 .He has explained this issue from both perspectives of a pilot as well as a passenger. Yes frustration hoga itne time ke delay ka but slapping the crew or pilot is not a solution & also there are many technicalities related to Airlines which #Gaurav Sir has explained to the general public like us. Currently deboarding ka option nahi hai in Aviation rules & is only given on extreme conditions. But yes agar passenger ko dikat ho rahi, usko flight se deboard karne ka option dena chahiye.
