Adidas Jacket is Hoshi who is the main dancer, he sometimes choreographs and cleans their dancing/performances in practises. Sleeveless Guy is Vernon amazing rapper. And I personally love the rawness he attacks his center part with too.

I never get tired of hearing people praise Hoshi's amazing dance skills. So deserving of his main dancer position! But I'm even happier when people appreciate how good of a dancer Vernon is! I feel like he's so underrated in terms of dancing in the team (maknae line also usually has low fancam views despite dino being literally a main dancer as well :/). Most people don't know but Vernon was considered one of the best dancers in their team (one of the people being in Team A in terms of skills during trainee days). He's so good that he almost made it in the performance unit!

I feel like if you also understood the meaning behind Sonogong and its choreography, it's even more of a masterpiece. This song references to a great piece of literature. The Korean name of this song is "손오공 (son-ogong)" is a mythical figure and the main character of the 16th century Chinese novel Journey to the West. Most commonly known as the monkey king, or Sun Wukong in Chinese. In the story, he is like a powerful superhero who protects hist team all the way from China to India to bring back the Buddish Scriptures. During this trip, they encountered many hardships and dangers but concurred them one by one. The part where the dancers created two mounds and hopped from one mound to the other represents the monkey's personality. "Hop on our cloud and get all around" in the lyric is a reference to his ability to travel interstellar distances with his flying cloud - which is when S.Coups was lifted and passed from the back to the front in the air. The incantation in the lyric might reference to the spell that the Tang monk uses to restrain him from his rebellious nature. In Joshua's line, the "power pole" is his weapon, which can transform extremely big or small. The choreography at the end is a simulation of Wukong's power and making copies of himself with his fur to form an army. There are many more references and great parts of the choreography with meaning and understanding what they refer to makes this even more of a masterpiece.

Vernon getting the recognation he deserves. Our hidden main dancer <3 he was supposed to be under performance team too, but ended up in hiphop team.

I couldn't help but notice the special beam cannon move (2:34) multiple times and now that y'all are mentioning the song name translates to "Son Goku" it makes so much sense 😂.

FINALLY Seventeen on the channel 🙌🏾 Hoshi (Adidas jacket) is the main dancer and performance team leader. You would also like Dino (main dancer and youngest in the group). He's always FULL OUT, but his body control is unmatched. He's so clean and detailed oriented. 

Favorite dancers in SVT would have to be Hoshi, Dino, Vernon (sleeveless guy), and Woozi. Also love the way Seungkwan moves. Dino used to help him so much when they were trainees that you can definitely tell his groove has been influenced by the way Dino moves.

As a Carat, I love that you chose this choreography to analyse , and of course teach through the reaction format <3 It’s becoming one of my favourite Kpop choreys of all time, because the use of this huge amount of dancers is so good. Whoever choreographed this really know how to utilise a large crew.

Also as an aside, love how you pick up on details like Hoshi’s aggressive Indian step and Minghao’s jacket 😆 it’s cool to see the member’s style and personality come through even on just a dance practice video

Always love it when a dancer immediately clocks in on Hoshi <3 !!! Our performance leader fr fr!! Also, The guy with the long coat, Minghao, had a healling shoulder injury at the time of them making this choreo so they changed his sightly to accommodate that!

I’ve always admired Vernon’s dancing. His textures are so great when he dances.

The Adidas jacket guy's name is Hoshi...he is the main dance of seventeen and is the leader of Seventeen's performance unit....The sleeveless guy's name is Vernon and he is a member of the hip-hop sub-unit of seventeen.....

I love it when professionals understand the whole artistry of seventeen, their choreo or songs, despite u guys not knowing them prior to this reaction. It's so cool!!!

Adidas Jacket is Hoshi - unit leader of Seventeen's Performance team . He also helps choreograph their songs. If you have time, check out Lilili Yabbay, Highlight, etc. by the same team unit. His performance energy is really all out.

Sleeveless Guy is Vernon - unit member of Seventeen's HipHop team. Before debut, he was supposed to be part of performance team but got rearranged. He is one of the main rappers of Seventeen. Being considered as part of performance team says a lot about his dancing.

Oh my god, the sound effects and mimicking Hoshi around 5:10 made me laugh so hard, your reaction is so relatable 😂 Hoshi's parts always has my stank face vibrating like crazy, boys insane

"Sleeveless guy" LETS GO VERNON!!! ❤ I've been a dancer my entire life & I was immediately captured by his movement quality when I first discovered Seventeen. He just has such a great balance of cleanliness & charisma onstage, I knew he was destined to be my bias! Absolutely loved seeing you breakdown their incredible choreography in this video, thank you!!
