i loved the part at 1:19 where jack wraps the telephone wire with his hand because at first i thought he was just fiddling with it like how people used to, but then he wrapped it around felix’s neck I LOVE THAT
  • I see so many people debating over who the real villian of the Walten Files is, but I think they kind of miss the whole point. Its not a story of good evil, but a story of broken people trying desperately to piece themselves back together. There are 'bad' people, sure, but none of them are truly objectively evil people.

I like to think that the biggest reason Felix didn’t tell Jack about the accident and his kids (aside from the obvious reasons) is cause Felix didn’t want to let Jack (someone who he probably greatly admired) down. He already let his wife down with his drinking issues, Molly and Ed down by getting them both killed, and now to let his best friend down and in the worst possible way too? I think Felix just couldn’t handle the thought of being a disappointment to someone else important in his life. The painful aspect of it all is that Felix isn’t some maniacal evil monster with no humanity. He represents the lowest points that almost anyone can relate too. Addiction, depression, guilt, and the fear of accountability. This animation is awesome and the Walten Files are absolute work of art.

Because of this music and presentation, I already felt both peace and fear at the same time. I also like that you aren't making the same type of memes that animators constantly make. I really love originality, and because you did yours, I really respect it very much. Well, and I also want to say that the plot in this animation is very good)

I- Holy shit. You’re so underrated. This is incredible! The animation was so fluid, the colors were outstanding, and the way you pieced together the scenes gave everything this uneasy but calm feeling. Absolutely outstanding work.

I know that any minute now this will blow up. This is amazing. Honestly. Good work bro.

this fandom is literally doing more in a year than what the fnaf fandom did in seven that’s impressive

"OH GOD WHAT AM I GONNA TELL JACK?" gives me chills every time

Felix is, in my opinion, the best character in TWF. Martin didn't make him a heartless villain, he portrayed him as a human that made terrible decisions and had to live with knowing what he did. Put yourself in Felix's shoes. You have to sleep every night knowing everything you've done, and you have to keep quiet about it every day. You know you have no excuse for what you've done and nobody to blame but yourself. It's terrifying.
  • damn,,, this has to be one of the best walten files fan pieces I've ever come across. your use of visuals to portray the "incident" and the emotions of felix is just incredible. you're seriously talented, and I hope more people come across this amazing video :-)

Honestly hard to tell who the real villain is at the moment: Bon or Felix. Even if it is Jack inside Bon I don't think Jack Walten is a bad person. Just like how we don't think badly of the children's souls in the Freddies animatronics. Does make you wonder what his motives were for attacking "Sophie" (who was of course actually Brian)

I literally cried while watching this and imaging how terrible Felix feels having to live with the fact that he killed two of his best friend's children and ruined Jack's family. He has no one to blame but himself...
  • @holllow
i love how you depicted Jack on the phone. lots of people depict him screaming and throwing things around, when in reality what makes it such a raw and terrifying yet emotion filled scene is how serious and calm he is when talking to Felix. he’s not enraged, he’s talking almost as a disappointed parent, although in this case the stakes are much higher as it’s the loss of his own two children that he’s concerned about. brilliantly done, and way to stay true to the source.
  • this is criminally underrated, if it never blows up im gonna loose my shit no but like fr it just looks so epic, everything about this is amazing, good job!
  • @stoneerrzz
I love the little detail of jacks missing poster on the lamp while Felix is walking down the street
  • The music, style, staging, editing and general presentation is on point with the original series. This seems like something that would be an official work of the series, I hope Martin Walls sees this
  • Jack casually winding up the phone cable around Felix's neck, honestly I wonder if if that was just a vision for Felix of what Jack would have probably done to him if he found out that's something I've been wrapping my head around
  • @ellierey_02
Wow this is so good! You’re so talented. And nobody can deny how underrated this is.
