I'm going to add this as a PSA since I've done some research on my own after being a little frustrated with this video in that not all zippers have the size stamped on them. The number size, in this case "5" is shown, refers to the approx. width of the zipper, measure in millimeters (mm) when the zipper is closed. Measure only to the edges of the teeth. I might add that people shouldn't be too critical of a good person trying to help others with videos like this. Besides no explanation of the zipper size, I like this video...well done.
  • You literally saved my sanity. After putting in dozens of zippers (a while back) in canvas application, I had a total brain block when converting a separating zipper slider from one pull to double pull slider. Duh. Thanks for walking through so closely and carefully for me. Well done!

Thank you for posting. I did it! I purchased replacement zipper heads from Amazon but they came with no instructions. After watching your video I was able to quickly fix three of my favorite fleece tops. 💕

Very helpful! Thank you for posting this. Just fixed my parka. I didn't want to sew in a new zipper. Just replacing the plastic zipper itself worked great.
