Back in Chapter 2 season 2, Peely was a double-agent. If all the bad guys this season are secretly working for Midas, it would make sense why Peely was captured 👀

I don't think Midas turned shadow, here's why, During the doomsday event Midas would've had to escape the loop because if he didn't we wouldn't have the other Midas skins which are snapshots according to the fact that the other jonesys are and that if there are more than one of the same skin that aren't story related they are snapshots most likely, so if he did escape during the event then shadow Midas was the first snapshot.

Chapter 2 was my favourite! Even though C2S1 seemingly went on forever, that island's early stages were so much fun, and it was a great time in my life too. C2S2 was undoubtedly the best season in the game in my opinion... not to mention that I'm one of the crazy 1% that really loved C2S3. I'm so glad to see so much of it coming back! And honestly, the layout of C5, with so many high mountains and terrain changes, really reminds me of C2 in a way. I'm loving this.

It seems this island really is bringing everything together, with some cool props from past chapters.. very cool so far!

I honestly hope they bring back past villains. I always wanted to see what happened the the Ice king and Prisoner since the story hinted that there were other kings like them from the round table.

This map is actually beautiful, I feel like it’s taking full advantage of unreal engine 5. It’s great to play on too, everything feels so fresh!

There's an extreme amount of chapter 2 map references as a whole which I like to think points in the direction that this is an alternate timeline chapter 2 following the black hole/big bang. Edit: I'm so happy Rainbow Rentals is back, it was basically where I'd drop in Ch 2 for challenges

Yo Adamaru there's something you missed, in the same building where you found Midas's chair, you can find a ton of Fortnite chapter 4 props along with a painting of Kado Thorne in the middle of the highest room. It's interesting

Fun fact: this chapter takes place immediately before chapter 2 and after chapter 1. It is likely c2s1 is currently happening alongside c5s1. Season OG #2 may occur at the end of this chapter, as the amount of c2 references is insane
