  • ok so for anyone who's confused, halsey recently did a podcast for Rolling Stones where she explained the hopeless fountain kingdom as this lost era in between heaven and hell ( where you are too good for hell but too bad for heaven) so it's a lost world. HALSEYS character and the boy she's in love with are two kids who weren't sent there like everyone else, they were born there and they are exploring their love. She also explained how this connects to Badlands. Room 93 is a hotel room fantasy about the same shitty relationship which takes place IN Badlands which is pretty much an abandoned run down city with danger covered by this deserted wasteland representing her mental state. She said Badlands is kind of like a realm inside the hopeless fountain kingdom. So it isn't completely like Badlands because Badlands is one part of the hopeless fountain kingdom, which is why it's a little bit different because I think it's showing you the other side to the story. I pulled quotes from her exact interview so here you go for anyone who's confused :)))
  • For the people here.. the whole hfk music videos are all connected. Watch them by chronological order: 1) Strangers (feat. Lauren Jauregui) 2) Now Or Never 3) Sorry 4) Bad At Love 5) Alone (feat. Big Sean, Stefflon Don) Hope you'll enjoy them! Halsey fan here..

I don't understand why this didn't blow up... This is the kind of song that gets a Billion views..'

Honestly, I was too young to understand Halsey's concepts back then but as I grew up, I got to appreciate her artistry more. Please she made concept albums a thing back when it wasn't even taken as seriously back then.
  • Obviously, it follows a Romeo and Juliet inspired storyline. Halsey, in this case, is Romeo from the House of Aureum. And the guy is Juliet, House of Angelus. Halsey's house emblem is a bee because they're corrupt, sinful, gluttonous, TOXIC (bee). The Angelus emblem are angel wings because they're supposedly pure and clean. Like Romeo and Juliet, these two people from rival houses fall in love. They decide to tell their best friends. Halsey's friend, although she's from Aureum (bad), she's able to accept Halsey's love for the guy. Guy's best friend, although he's from Angelus (good) doesn't accept their love and betrays them. That's why House of Angelus ambushes and kills the people of the House of Aureum, leaving Halsey on her own.
  • chills everytime I watch the part where she shouted "I LOVE HIM" like it's so forbidden love vibes going on..

For people questioning the change: This is a different concept and vibe from Badlands, that's why it doesn't sound "the same". It's a new era. Embrace it

Doesn’t matter what time and day it is, doesn’t matter what time of year it is. This song will always live through all of us. ❤️‍🩹😮‍💨
  • The arguement between her and her best friend was so intense i cant stop replaying it

I don't often comment on videos but I've noticed this debate about how this song is different and how Halsey has become "mainstream". I'll just leave this here : she did say it would be different and she asked us to trust her, so let's trust her and not judge too quick here ;) (wait for the rest of the album). The music video is genius though

Been listening to this since 2017 and I feel so nostalgic now. It's been such a long time and things have changed so much, yet it's like nothing has changed. I remember the happy times when I was so carefree. It's all seems a long time ago now. :( I love this song

I've been a fan of Halsey since the very beginning, and I know a lot of people will disagree with me after reading these comments, but I'm personally obsessed with this song and I really do like her new sound. With most artists, their second album is always going to have a different style and vibe to it because it is with this album where the artist learn which sounds they want to retire and which sounds they want to experiment with, and that's exactly what Ashley is doing. I understand that we all have our own opinions, but I think we should just relax and have faith in her and know that she won't disappoint us with this upcoming album. Lets just give her our love and support like we always do.

She looks amazing with blue hair ❤️
  • @vonxojn3
She understands love and the hurt that can come with it for loving someone we shouldn’t

Idk if this earned any Grammys.. but it should have...this was a literal MASTERPIECE... I've always loved this song, but I think this is the first time I watched the visuals.. this was AMAZING! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
