Mother of all COE trucks arrives at Metalworks. Massive GMC cab over engine truck project.

Published 2020-04-15
The "Mother of all COE" trucks arrived at the shop today for some electrical work. We have worked on a couple of Cab over Engine trucks for this customer, and how he has brought us this massive COE running a 3208 Cat diesel with an Allison transmission. What a neat rig, we are excited to work on it.

  • Well done. I would be stoked to show up at the race track or campground with a lead like that.

WOW !!! That's quite the rig !!! It looks as though it's based on a 49-54 GMC Cab over and then it took off from there.
  • I'm so thankful to have seen this beautiful, eye-catching truck on YouTube! If I had seen this on the road somewhere while I was driving, I probably would have had an accident from admiring it. Awesome!
  • Damn, so many critics! They don't like the color. They don't like the engine. They don't like the mirrors. It baffles me. It's a beautifully restored truck with every appearance of being well maintained. I'd love to take a road trip in it. Wonder what they're towing.

What a Gorgeous Truck! Totally awesome!
  • I have actually worked on a same identical truck that was all flat black . Same engine, same transmission , same exact setup when I was doing heavy diesel. In FL. What a pain in the ass to work on and put a transmission in
