What are your thoughts on buying coffees?! ☕ How does your spending differ?! How ripe do you like your bananas?! 🐢
  • No matter how expensive the coffee is, it is always worth the money to sit in a coffee shop and enjoy the ambience with a nice cup of coffee on weekends or even after a long day at work.

You’re killing it, Taylor. I’m almost a decade older than you living in the Midwest and I click on your videos as soon as I notice a new one. Your video style and humor make you so fun to watch. I see you reaching great heights on YouTube!
  • I love how you described your thought process justifying coffee shop trips! It’s always called out as an irresponsible expense, but there’s honestly value in going to a coffee shop to meet someone new, boost mental energy or productivity with a scenery change, etc. (not as a daily expense necessarily but every so often)

I live in Illinois. Our taxes are so high, I only eat air 6 days of the week. All my hand washing, showers, and drinking water are from rain. My clothing is all found in dumpsters outside of thrift stores. Joking, but legit, I do OMAD, and I only eat at home around 6pm after I get off work. I do all my grocery shopping at Aldi. I typically eat out once a month max. I only drink water and coffee (only made at home). I have never once drank alcohol, smoked, or gambled, and I don’t do anything else that costs a lot of money. I wear only cheap simple clothes, and I wear them until they fall apart. I’ve had the same paid off cellphone since 2015, and my phone bill is $15 a month. I’ve cut my own hair since I was 11, and I’ve only been to a barber 4 times in my entire life. I drive a 2003 car that doesn’t have working windows, radio, or car horn, and I do my own oil changes. I do however buy 2-3 video games at Black Friday on sale every year, and I order takeout Chinese for my birthday. I don’t pressure my wife to be as intense as I am, but she’s decently frugal herself. My coworkers always think I’m crazy, but I take my wife on amazing vacations, and we travel to some amazing places every year, so she doesn’t complain. We all make choices and sacrifices to achieve the lifestyle we want.

Finally a person with brains has a take at this kind of video. Loved it 👍🏻
  • @mfnannygram
Yay! Finally, a YouTuber who included rent and amortized/adjusted expenses. Great commentary and explanations. Plus, a fun video, well edited!
  • You are officially my new favourite youtuber. Everything from your personality, editing style, content is really on point. I always look forward to your videos now:)
  • It was very satisfying how you included everything, AND split groceries by week. Thank you 🙏
  • @khalilahd.
Somebody give Taylor an Emmy for that intro 😂👏🏽 love seeing how you live in the big Apple! I’m a New Jersey native but spend most of my time in NYC so I relate to these prices more than I’d like to admit 🥲

Taylor’s video necessities: witty humor, engaging content, creative editing, 😎, ✌️and 🐢!!
  • I can tell you’re a consultant by your astute use of accrual based accounting in what is otherwise low common denominator content. In other words, you nailed this shit, lmao. You’re upping the game for this genre moving forward. I will hold content creators’ feet to the fire when they claim unused expenses.

the view in the background is soooooo amazing. I hope soon I get the chance to also experience something like that every single day but I know it takes A LOT of hard work. thank you for the video!

Taylor, this was an exceptionally well put together video. I loved the quirky bits, here and there - hilarious! I love your personality, keep shining! 👏🌟
  • Amazing video as always 🔥🔥 You were meant to do this like literally I can watch you all day, your personality is very warm and engaging . Looking forward to more videos from you❤️
  • @pokeram6148
I love your organization in showing us practically everything thus being a precise visual. I live in NYC as well but I have no budgeting education what so ever so I will do that from now on.
  • @lalAlyssa
I was looking for a good and cozy NYC video to watch before sleeping and a new lifestyle channel to subscribe to when I came across this. I almost didn't want to look because at first, I thought you looked like a supermodel living a high life and I was looking for something more humble 😆 so glad I clicked! I now have my new favorite channel! You're so beautiful but you're so grounded and humble and it's refreshing to see how you're so simple and not excessive like others. Excuse me while I binge watch your videos! ❤️ And did I say you're soooo stunning?
  • This is so cool! I have been seeing posts complaining about skyrocketing prices in NYC but your videos keep me to love NYC in stead of hating the high prices. Your vlogs are also very entertaining and funny yet cool. I hope to see more of your content and the beauty of the NYC.
  • @MattyTingles
It's actually crazy that you use your phone for these. They look so good!!!! So much natural light! Love it!

I love watching these “what I spend in a week videos” and I have to say yours is one of my favorites. I appreciate how you used accrual based accounting. Your editing is also on point 👏🏼
