I love that Derivakat makes Revivebur seems like this cool edgy villain, while actually he’s just an angry wet cat.

I love how the fandom depicts revivebur as this unhinged, intimidating villainous character, but he's mostly just an old guy who hasn't showered since pogtopia lmao

What we expected: villain, insane Wilbur What we got: Wilbur who just met his family members, helped Tommy once and left

This song is still fire honestly! Despite what most people keep saying, this song is very easy to listen to, because it could very easily be interpreted to many other characters from vastly different fandoms. Plus, this song wasn't even made by Wilbur! So nothing goes to him and I can listen to this as much as I want. ❤

the references are what gives me all the more chills. 1. the Jubilee 4 min sign. 2. the flashes of Ghostbur. 3. "trade-of" which literally means how Wilbur traded spots with Ghostbur, for his own selfish need. 4. "am i the bad guy?" , the realization that Wilbur was the bad guy is stark because we all the know the original line was "Tommy are we the bad guys?" 5. "this is my sunrise, this is my dawn. . . .all this is MINE." considering his last canon line was "MY L'Manberg. MY unfinished symphony." this gives me pure chills. 6. "A throne will always await a King." somewhere, somehow, Wilbur seems his life/position as once royalty. 7. "-ticket of my patience." Wilbur was at some point, teamed with Dream. What makes you think- there wasn't a plan? 8. "go ahead and sm:)le." tell me that doesn't make bile rise in your throat. 9. the hues of constant red, anger, passion, strength, valor 10. the almost glitch-like sounds and the roaring sound of trains- almost makes me see it as Wilbur watching trains go by in the In-Between but never his train.

I'm just gonna say this once(in this comment section at least): Knowing how to differentiate a character from the one who plays it will help you live a healthier life. As just because Wilbur made something bad, doesn't mean that the character, nor the song, are bad as well. After all, a character doesn't exist and the song wasn't made by him. So no worries, and just enjoy the song.
