Orlando Magic was stupid for not giving Shaq what he wanted.

As a Magic fan, I was hurt by this. I understand business as an adult now & Shaq knew his worth

The Magic only were willing to pay once it looked like the Lakers would get him. When he asked for $120 million the Magic put a survey in the local paper to ask if fans thought he was worth it. They said no and that made him sign with LA. Once ownership knew he was about to sign then they were willing to pay him.

The moment the Magic beat Chicago in 1995, it waa the beginning of the end for Shaquille O'Neal.

Pride comes before the fall. The magic has been falling ever since.

Yall Lakers fans should be wearing that Jerry West nba logo proudly cuz if it wasnt for him then the dynasty would have never been.

I like how you added the hip-hop east vs west coast beef that was occurring at the time.

I remember watching Shaq do an interview with Schick Hern during halftime of a lakers game while he was still in college. He spoke about how he always wanted to play for the lakers when he was a kid. When he got traded to the lakers it made sense to me, Shaq was always a laker. I’ll admit that I’m biased but I STILL don’t consider Lebron a laker, he’s as much of a laker as Gary Peyton and Karl Malone are in my mind. I know that isn’t actually related in any way to this video but as an ex lakers fan it saddens me to think of what he’s turned that franchise into.

It’s hard for the magic to say they made Shaq just cause they drafted him ….any team would’ve drafted him regardless….magic are lucky he stayed that long

Management wants high production for little money, then act shocked at the "selfishness" of the employee. Don't matter if it's the NBA, schools or Dunkin' Donuts.
