So we bought 10 of the worst rated car products we could find to see if they’re REALLY as bad as the reviews say. Do they really deserve 1 star ratings? James Pumphrey and Zach Jobe found out on this special episode of D-List!

Thanks to Fanatec for sponsoring today’s episode. Only thing cooler than a sim, is one designed in Germany with the best build quality, best feedback, and approved by real race car drivers. Visit bit.ly/3puLcKS to pick yours.

Btw, this is one of the first things we've shot in our brand new garage/office! Let us know if you want to see more episodes like this because we had a ton of fun making it :_buff:

Don’t care what the products are... I’m here for the banter and comedic factor 🍿🥤

You should have opened the "fuel saver" to see if it actually was just a light inside
  • The fuel thing actually works. I had a F250 that was getting 11mpg. I switched to a prius and bought that plug. I was getting over 40mpg.
  • The steering wheel handle made me think somebody had driven a forklift their whole life and switching to a wheel without one was too much of a learning curve.
  • @volundrfrey896
The interesting thing about these fuel things are: if someone can make a gadget that costs $6 that improves the mileage with 10-30% why doesn't every manufacturer just include one from the factory? I just can't see how people fall for it.
  • That "Fuel Shark" looks like its supposed to inserted rectally. Probably more effective that way.
  • Zach's mustache makes him look like an undercover cop on campus looking for kids smoking weed
  • When you think about it, the gas saver thingy actually makes you consume more fuel. A miniscule, immeasureable amount, but still, it lights up so it puts a tiny bit more stress on the alternator to power the LED 🤔
  • I used to work with a guy who had one of those fuel saver things in his car, but a bit more elaborate and a lot more expensive, and he was utterly convinced it was saving him a fortune, one day he offered to "source" one for me like he had underground connections and someone wasn't just ordering it on eBay for him. He also believed in every conspiracy theory under the sun which explains a lot I guess
  • @ACURACLTYPESLOW
James was genuinely upset that steering knob damaged his wheel. I felt that.
  • @JeeTee_
I love how the titles of amazon products describe everything about the product 😂 like you’ll by like a lawn chair and the title is: “black lawn chair foldable for outside and inside use super comfortable reclining and camping chair easy to use take anywhere you can sit on it with bag”
  • @soundspark
That plug-in "fuel saver" is deserving of a teardown. Wouldn't be surprised if it is just a LED and a resistor.
  • *Some dude in a crappy car pulling up to dom inviting him to a race Dom : prepares his nitrous Random dude : shows his glowing fuel shark Dom : *sweating
  • I've seen those steering wheel handles on cars adapted for disabled people, I would guess that for them it's useful.
  • I know it's all for giggles and this is an older video but I just wanted to say: the steering knob was originally designed with making easier for Handicapable usage easier. My grandmother had one in her car when I was a kid and it was always weird to me too until I realized when I got older that it was because she couldn't exert any force with her left arm because of her age and disability and this made it possible for her to drive when otherwise she wouldn't have been able to. R.I.P. Grandma we miss you
  • That suicide knob for the steering wheel looks deadly as hell! Those things do come in handy when driving vehicles with a larger steering wheel, drove truck for 5 years with an eight ball knob and now have it on my riding mower. That modified brass knuckle thing would go right though you in a crash though, guess suicide spinner is a great description.
