Briedis has always been underrated, this man is a warrior and the only one who gave trouble to Usyk in the Cruiserweight division.
  • @joshthemac
The fact that breidis is 39 years old and still giving opetaia trouble is really impressive
  • I swear Briedis is an alien 🤣 this dudes toughness is just abnormal

Briedis is such a badass. Man was born for the ring. Wish him sound retirement if he does indeed retire after this fight but honestly I can see him compete at the top for another couple of years.

Great respect between the two. Even Jai gave him his full praise in the rooms after the fight. Kept saying how tough he was and he was genuinely surprised he kept going so strong. Well done Jai. Congratulations.

Always nice to see mutual respect between fighters

I hope breidis doesn't retire yet, he may have a couple years more in him at this level.

Think of this fight as Passing the Torch, both warriors solid fight...
  • Tough fight for both again. Very similar to the first fight. Congratulations to Jai!!

What a boxing match.Though Jai Opetaia won this bout,I take my hat off to this great fighter from Latvia-Braidis.He is so finesse with his hands...Braidis was so unlucky to lose by points. In the late rounds as we saw,Jai Opetaia was having trouble to handle him. When we watch great delivery of hand skills where you see upper cuts, crosses and tactical strategies we enjoy watching boxing. Great boxing match..Money well spent...cheers...
  • Opetaia is absolute class and has an excellent chin. But at the very top it's fine margins, those last few rounds didn't need to fight like that.

Love my uso, both of these athletes are warriors, this is what boxing should be, love how both guys speak highly of each others and their talents, BEASTS.

Opetaia is still the new kid on the block, his only challenge has been Briedis and Briedis only, Thompson and Zoro were not high level fighters. Opetaia will grow from this fight and continue to grow against quality opponents to fight. Briedis as a seasoned fighter has become a complete fighter in his own right and there's no room for improvement where as Opetaia still has room to improve which is what everyone seems to be overlooking. In saying that the current Briedis would beat the rest of the cruiserweight fighters. Hopefully he fights for a title and there's a unification match meeting Opetaia again for the 3rd time.

Jai can fight for the first 6 rounds, but in the later rounds he doesn't have the power and cardio. Prime Briedis would've finished him easily. I think that his other opponents now saw this and his next fights won't be easy, but respect for surviving 12 rounds.

Birdies almost knock opetia out what a old warrior he is
  • @mattlenton7376
Briedis ........nobody pushed usyk the way he did....and still unbelievable at 39...
  • @alberta8489
Briedis paved the way and he’s set bar high which is why jai is the fighter he is today and the champ but in my eyes jai walked through everyone and briedis is the only fighter to challenge him this could have gone both ways respectfully
