Zafaranieh is considered one of the noble and old neighborhoods of Tehran. Zafaranieh is located in the foothills of Alborz and you can easily see a combination of modern and traditional urban development in this neighborhood.
Zafaranieh neighborhood is one of the high neighborhoods of Tehran, which is 1650 to 1800 meters above sea level.
Zafaranieh was one of the names of the Qajar period, some people believe that because the palace of Saadabad was saffron colored, over time it became known as Zafaranieh by the people.
Because the address of the people who wanted to go to this area was in the saffron color of the palace, which was considered one of the most famous structures in the area at that time.
