18:30 The food they got you on The Royal Air Maroc isn't even Moroccan food, I'm Moroccan and I confirm
  • @Bacchusmbt
The nicest, most generous people I have met in all my years of traveling are the Moroccan people. I love this country.

Those views from the helicopter viewed in 4K 60fps, absolutely surreal. Great video as always.

There tends to be some confusion over the socks, or the quality of the socks. Those socks are meant to be worn over your socks if you choose to take your shoes off... Then if you happen to move about you'd like the provided socks over your personal socks. I think that makes sense. Cheers!

I like your videos! Morocco is also a beautiful country to be.

You should definitely do a Norse Atlantic review. I flew them for the first time from JFK-LGW in Premium Economy. I thought it was a great experience for a low-cost carrier.
  • I have flown with RAM many times before, and I never seemed to have any complaints. I normally go to economy class. To be honest, I am surprised with the service/food they had given you. Normally they are extremely nice and friendly, and the food is great! I am going to Morocco in 2 days and I will be flying with RAM so hopefully nothing will go wrong.

Flew on Royal Air Maroc a few times, always found them decent. Even flew on their 737 MAX 8 to Mauritania which I found to be surprisingly good

I love how Noel is always pleasant no matter the circumstances he gets in. My motto is always be kind no matter what. It’ll get you far!
  • :)) I’m always amazed how the flights you’re on Noel, always seem so stable and without turbulence…

Service seemed poor on that first flight, as for the lounge, I think I’d have found a bar or had a look around the shops 😃 interesting to see how green Casablanca is !
  • RAM had years of bad management, only now joined One World and still have no good catering partners. As for the staff, they are already in a bad mood because Moroccans living in the US and Europe treat them badly. They did not realise that with good service you can forgive the rest and show expats it is them who have not moved on. I recommend coming back and fly RAM domestically, totally different atmosphere. Fly in with Ryan Air or something exotic perhaps to Marrakech, take a RAM to Oujda in the North or even more exciting, a flight to Dakhla, a Saharan port city next to Mauretania.
  • Another great video Noel thanks. Very nice Dreamliner with a beautiful cabin. To bad the service was a little funky. Look forward to these every weekend ! Keep up the good work!
  • Nice to see RAM's hard product - thanks! I've used a different temperature/air quality cube for years and 20-25% is actually pretty common on 787s. On my tired old 767-400 last week it was actually only 11%!

I am a long-time fan of your world videos. As one who can no longer travel extensively, except a few coast-to-coast trips across America each couple of years, I especially like watching your travels. The copter ride over NYC looks great! I am going to do it and thank you for the idea!
  • @horsehollerer
Great trip, thanks Noel! FYI, I flew Norse in October, JFK-LGW and OSL-JFK, and it was stunning value. I was in the premium cabin both ways. The Dreamliners are very new (ex Norwegian I think?) and the seats are absolutely enormous ... much closer to business class than premium in size (not flatbed but major recline nonetheless). I only paid about $700 rt inc baggage fees for the multi trip. Cheers!
  • Flew Norse from Oslo to Orlando. It was not too bad. Paid to upgrade to their version of first class and it was 100% worth it. Smooth flight, nice crew, and the food is what you get for a low-cost carrier.
  • Great report ! The views of Manhattan by helicopter are awesome ! I had a great experience with RAM myself but it was 20 years ago, aboard a 747 🙂

I once made a JFK-MAN flight in 5 hours 10 minutes. Estimated time to SFO the same night was a full hour longer! Those winter jet streams are something!
