Everyone is talking about the wolf representing addiction, but to me it could also represent loneliness, it seemed like the characters were lonely, and only managed to fight back when they accidentally bumped into each other.

Has anyone else noticed in the beginning, only a single wolf was chasing the guy on the motorcycle, but when we see him again later, a lot more are chasing him. And then, at the end, there's a whole horde behind them. Almost like it's saying that running from your problems instead of facing them only creates new problems and makes things worse in the long run.

Ik everyone under the sun has talked about the symbolism of addiction with each character but I really enjoy how each character reacts to the wolf and the details you can derive from their reactions. how the glasses guy who a lot of people think he's an alcoholic but I don't think people ever really say that the coin he has is likely a sobriety chip, the way he examines it and hands it away after getting that drink makes it feel very much like it is him falling back into the addiction rather than it being a constant, and his reaction to the wolf reflects that as he runs out of fear of his addiction returning. the girl initially reacts with some fight, but after seeing it has no effect resorts to running, which could give the idea that she's tried to quit before and failed, ultimately choosing to run from the problem rather than stand ground and face it. even though we don't really see the reaction of the biker (probably because with his addiction theorized to be thrill seeking and speeding it's likely the wolf just showed up while he was riding and he saw it) what you can see is how determined to outrun the problem and when finally has to confront the wolves he is visibly teared up over it but ultimately chooses to stand his ground. just love the personality of each character shining through and giving a insight as to not only their addictions but their willingness to overcome them

My favourite part is where the girl's initial reaction to the wolf is to just fucking smack it round the face with her skateboard

Having the wolves represent the characters’ problems, and them trying to run away from them is pure genius
  • The original source of inspiration and meaning behind the song and video is irrelevant: we can only interpret it from our own point of view. In my opinion, it's about facing your demons and whatever is chasing you. Nobody walks through this life without suffering the slings and arrows that test our resolve as human beings.

Just realized the line "not too young not too old." Is a reference to the fact addiction can literally hit you whenever, also I'm in a state where my flesh is crying out for more, thanks for helping me through

I know we're all discussing the idea of the video, or even making some memes about it, but we can just take a moment to appreciate that SIAMÉS keep coming back to this video to heart something? That's some dedication to a fan-base right there. Keep it up you beautifully talented people.

Only a masterpiece such as this could be such a banger, yet tell a story with deep lyrics and breathtaking animation. This song is the epitome of timelessness.

I wanna add that when ever the wolves are in darkness they transform and become more monsterlike i think this represents that if you just leave your problems alone in the dark they won't get better only worse also the guy at the beginning since he keeps only running away they multiply also showing you can't run also notice how the wolf that attacks him in the front is the original wolf and he had to deal with it
  • @DJFNaFMan
I love how by just hearing the “dun dun dun DUN DUN dun” from the start you instantly know what song it is
  • As an Argentinian I am really proud that Siamés is one of the few bands from my country that is really known all over the world, thank you all for that and greetings from Argentina to your respective countries
  • A friend of mine noted that: For the "driver" to save the "drinker" from his daemon, he had to sacrifice the thing that kept him running from his own. Just thought i wanted to share.

The creativity level behind this video is unimaginable.

LYRIC Each and every day hiding from the sunshine Wandering in the shade, not too old, not too young Every night again dancing with the moonlight Somewhere far away, I can hear your call I'm out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause you can run, but you can't hide, I'm gonna make you mine Out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause I can feel how your flesh now is crying out for more Ain't no fairytale what I see in your eyes Awaiting your mistake, not too close, not too far Sneaking in the pain, every truth becomes lie I won't trust myself once I hear your call I'm out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause you can run, but you can't hide, I'm gonna make you mine Out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause I can feel how your flesh now is crying out for more I'm out of my head, of my heart and my mind Out of my head, of my heart and my mind I'm out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause you can run, but you can't hide, I'm gonna make you mine Out of my head, of my heart and my mind 'Cause I can feel how your flesh now is crying out for more
