    I'm a 53-year-old man and I'm crying today......go with God Mr Keith.
  • You know, I’m a twin. My name is Nesa Jan, my sisters name is Lesa Ann. She died back in 2013, but I feel like she still with me!! She wasn’t able to see the age of 50, and now I’m 60! But I can relate to this song very much so!!! I may not be as good as I once was, but I dang sure am good at it!!!! Lol
  • I’m from Morocco I listened to this masterpiece in internet radio and decided to look it up in YouTube before jumping into the comments and getting the sad news of his passing RIP
  • 19 years ago, my journey as an exchange student started, my English was basic, your music was one of the first I started listening to thanks to those white dudes from MN & WI who were my roommates, I was the only hispanic of the group at a country bar with my friends. I made my way up to get a good job, became a Permanent Resident and got a family. Now as a US citizen I thank you Toby, for your music and for teaching me that passion for loving this country. Rest in Peace, you will always be remembered as one of the greatest artists this country had.

He came to Iraq for us. He asked if he could debut a song for us. The crowd roared "YES", he played this song.

RIP Toby. A man of faith went home to see Jesus.
  • In 2005, I made a life change. I was moving from Los Angeles to Nashville. My former staff gave me a small basket of gifts. One of the gifts was a CD of Toby Keith's Greatest Hits. For some comfort, I played that CD nonstop during my new journey. Twenty years ago, I still cherish that CD as it got me through a challenging time. Thanks Toby!
  • RIP, Toby. Not a big country fan but he could write some catchy tunes and seemed like a helluva good guy. May God rest his soul
  • Heard the news today of your departure, and I know that you were on the train to the mansion in heaven with our lord Jesus christ. I know this because you shared your music with society, and used the talent God gave you with the charity you did for society as well. I pray for your loved ones, that God make them strong through your departure, and heal their grief. Most of all, that they know, you just moved on to a bigger stage in heaven, and are alive and well spiritually now. I give God all the glory for the joy you gave the public with your presence and music, for you were a good role model of what a true star should be. GOOD SPEED TOBY! AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SONGS OF JOY.❤

He lived up the road from my family. Occasionally my brother would see him on his bike riding around town. Im always on the road and regret that I never got to see this. Such a tragic loss, he was a Patriot when the country needs Patriotism. His shoes will be hard to fill.
  • @Mista_Cassla
