as someone that works for southlake mall security, we usually dont allow people to record videos of the mall, but im glad that you did!! the mall has had its rough times but as someone that is actively working there now the incidents that have been happening have drastically decreased and a lot more people are coming by! its always amazing to see people appreciating our mall ❤️❤️

Michigan City (My Hometown) Does In Fact Have The Marquette Mall And The Lighthouse Premium Outlets, But There Are Plans To Remodels The Marquette Mall. I Used To Go Marquette Mall And Sears Before They Closed. I Have Fond Memories Of Them.

This mall used to have a carousel, but it was sadly removed in 2014. :(

I'm wondering if Dicks Sporting Goods is planning to leave Southlake Mall as well. I'm getting the impression that across the street, where it was originally Value City Department Store, then Burlington, is becoming Dicks Sporting Goods. Based on the construction of the modified building, it looks like it might become Dicks Sporting Goods. If that's the case, that'll leave JCPenney and Macy's (Macy's was originally LS Ayres).
