  • He's an interesting and intelligent man. It would be great to see more like him. I find it refreshing to listen to expat characters who are less typical.

What a gentleman… goes to church and is helping his girlfriend’s family and her baby…. Shows great character ….

From the utube interviews I've seen over the past few years covering the expats of Dumaguete, (mostly US), this guy is a rarity...interesting, insightful and humble. Great interview....all best wishes to him.......
  • I think he understands the transactional element to relationships in PH and it works for him. He has a good heart and a clear head.

This is a likable and humble man, and he has had an eventful life. I hope he is well looked after by his Filipino family.
  • I really admire Philip. He takes a licking and and keeps on ticking. Things are finally going his way. He deserves it. Thanks for sharing. 😮
  • Thank you for the opportunity to see and listen to the interview with Phillip. I have a lovely young Filipina wife who provides very well for us, and Filipinas are the most charming and friendly women I've met anywhere in the world. Congratulations Phillip and thank you for telling us your story!

Enjoyed hearing about this man’s journey. He’s had a lot of heartache but glad he will be taken care of by a Filipina.

He is a very wise man. He keeps his beer cold and insulated!

An amazing man! A redo is interesting. I’m 56 and my Wife is 20 and having our Son in August. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship. I have a philosophy of limited support for her family consisting of giving my Wife some money monthly to do as she wishes. It keeps the energy positive all around. Though initially a I help you and you help me relationship, a tremendous amount of love has grown. My grown Son has commented on how much happier, healthier, fit I’ve become since living in the Philippines

Nice 👍 I'm from U.S.. Living single here in Manila for 14 years and I love it.

He definitely has a healthy way of looking at life. Seems to have come to an agreement that helps him and her family to include the young daughter. BTW, I work/live in Saipan now, but I'm from Ann Arbor Michigan, a 45 minute drive from his stateside home of Lansing, Michigan. Nice guy, small world. 😊

Great story! Best of luck to this gentleman.
  • Simon and Philip, Many many thanks for a great and rather uniquely themed video... Why should everyone follow the same path. Again glad that Philip is enjoying his twilight ( no offence intended) years. I've been to Davao on several occasions, I really enjoyed it... Cheers Stay safe n happy Glenn
