    You dont need to change to manual,in auto mode just dont press with CB,if the auto switch goes to CB tap switch and the switch goes to other players thats it,only Press with CB in the necessary situations only like a 1v1 situation,auto mode is fair enough for good defending!!

    I started manual switching after watching Ruma and some other Japanese videos. It really helped me well. But Konami's logic didn't make it last too long. I had 1430 rating. But i received more toxic player now my rating is 1200. I think I don't have enough luck

    Manual is so good, I started to use since the beginning of 21. I got base Campbell and IM Bauer, they are the best partners. I can organize my defense so easily with manual. Everyone should use manual, even beginners.

    I use manual switching. You can try this- While defending,call the second player to press. That 2nd player will press automatically and move the first player to mark the other players nearby him. This will slow down opponent's attacks.

    Close passing lane with the player ur controlling,call for pressure against the ball holder, never ever switch to cb and this throws off their natural marking and position
