    It's like, when listening to you, everything feels like more clear, like I can finally be like those native speakers who like to use "like" whenever they are at a loss for words, which for me is like all the time when I'm trying to have like a meaningful conversation in English. I think I overplayed it, but I'm thinking teenagers trying to describe something and their love for "like" in every sentence. Love your videos BTW :)

  • Hi Emma, like always — a great lesson. I lived 4 years in California and in my job I am exposed to many „native“ speakers around the globe. I learned that some words or phrases are common language in some parts of the world, while being offensive or misleading in other parts (mostly the UK). In those kind of lessons could you please mention countries or regions where words are common and can be used and where to avoid them. PS: I am German. Exposed to US, RAS, UK, NZ, and Australien English.
