The Coalitions tried to defeat Napoleon. This enraged Napoleon who punished them severely.

Napoleon- does literally nothing Britain- how many time do we have to teach you this lesson Copenhagen
  • @SadieNya
Needing 5 empires including superpowers of Europe, to defeat one man with untrained troops is crazy

“Sir, Oversimplified hasn’t posted in a year, what shall we do?” “There is nothing we can do..” Update: HE’SSS BACKKKK
  • This man was so badass that they needed to give him a heavily reinforced coffin to make sure he didn’t come back from the dead.

"Luckily they banished him to an Island" "But he Came Back!" "Luckily they banished him to another Island"
  • @Red-mg4ro
Napoleon really did have an action-comedy for his life. Half of the wars were the Four Stooges going "it'll work this time" until it finally did.

"France, the army, the head of the army, Josephine..." -Napoleon's last words.

I'm kinda sad Napoleon lost like that, imagine being so good at war the only thing people can do to win is not to fight you.
  • @RayzleGZ
Fun fact, Aurther Wellington studied Napoleons tactics, and battles. Helping him to make similar predictions of what Napoleon might do next. And creating formations. Defending attacks

it is CRAZY how 30 minutes Youtube video is more accurate than a 2.5 hours movie. The director clearly hated Napoleon and did everything to convince the audience of his bias, while Oversimplified shows the true history

"When he attacks, we run away." Emus: WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN
  • @that-one_guy
When you realize that Napoleon only lost because his enemy's are fleeing No, this is not how you are supposed to play the game

After Napoleon's defeat, Tsar Alexander invited him to go to Russia, but Napoleon was offended and refused then. But then, already on the island of St. Helena, he decided to write to Alexander that he thought about their old friendship every day, missed him and would like to come to Russia, but the British did not let him go.

This mix of historical accuracy and witted humour is unparalleled. From a French perspective, a great relief after watching Ridley Scott's failed biopic. Subbed to your channel.

“The people to fear are not those who disagree with you, but those who disagree with you and are too cowardly to let you know.” - Napoleon

Napoleon's story is by far my favourite, he worked to raise himself up the ranks and recived admiriation by his soldiers and by france. He was smart and helped the country of france regain some stability and in my opininon Napoleon is DEFINITELY the greatest military general and i deeply find him a respectable and admireable
  • @DeepFactsfy11
Napoleon's last campaign to defend France was legendary. At one point he even sighted the cannons himself like he did during the Italian campaign as a general many years ago. His army was small enough that he could take full command of all his men. EPIC history TV's coverage of this campaign is a masterpiece
