Imagine this is 5 years ago and the same thing is happening and people really got a short memory

I can't believe that this interview was 5 years ago. The Palestinians suffered for 75 years.

I simply adore Norman Finkelstein for his brilliance, his sense of justice, his meticulous scholarship, and his charming delivery so evident in this interview.

Wow! 5 years later; I thought he was referring to the current 2023 Gaza/Israel situation!!! I kept wondering why he was referring to the former US president, and then I checked the posting date of this video! This man was on point with everything he said. Amazing work Democracy Now!

And here we are 5 years later, and it is apparently worse.

A man of honor and integrity. Standing on the side of justice, even if this means isolation from your own community. All my love and respect to him. He will go down in history as one of the most righteous men of his time. ✊🏽👏🏼

Thank you Norman Finkelstein. Oct 7th 2023 happened because Israel has always been the aggressor!

Obama said "that the power disparity between Israel and the Palestinian is so staggering." Israel is tremendously powerful while the Palestinian is almost powerless at the face of Israel's occupation. For the past 10 years Hamas struck Israel with 35 thousand rockets and could only muster 69 Israeli deaths. Israel besieged Gaza and for just a span of 4 days. several thousands Palestinians died with greater number of them civilians and children. We don't glorify death regardless of the exchange of human lives involved. The point is, how could the Palestinians be the aggressors when they are just reacting to the daily violence perpetrated by Israel agaisnt them? 75 years of oppression could make someone resorts to things that could be labeled as despicable. There must be balance in the narratives.
