I'm from the UK and also ignored my government's advice to not travel to Russia and have visited twice in the last three months. I visited Saint Petersburg and Moscow and had a wonderful time. I felt safer walking around the streets and riding the Metro than I often do in my home country. I found the people to be respectful and welcoming throughout.

Ive never heard a single russian person call me deplorable, racist, colonizer or anything derogatory for that matter. On the other hand half of my so called "countrymen" take no issue trying to make themselves feel as if they have actually accomplished something of value. I would happily visit russia, i like everything about it, the Russian federation doesn't deny who in fact built Russia

Live the present, don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Don't let any government tell you what to do with your life. The US has been pushing anti-Russian propaganda since the cold war, and that didn't stop when the Soviet Union disintegrated. I visited Russia a few years back and the country is beautiful, the people hospitable and friendly. Follow your heart, not your politicians.

People are beginning to realize that government IS the problem. That's why expecting anything to be fixed by politicians is stupid.

It's actually amazing that despite the propaganda from social media people still come to Russia😊
  • @DavidMayOnline
Please accept my gratitude to the millions of Russians who gave their lives to stop the German's. Some of us still remember.
  • @megaotstoy
as a matter of fact visiting Russia is a serious challenge for US citizens... you come here once... then twice... and then you stay in Russia and never go back 😆
  • I visited Nahodka, Russia, in 1971. I was an American sailor aboard the US Coast Guard ice breaker, "Glacier." Even then, in the height of the "cold war" the Russian people in this city were courteous and friendly. I send greetings to the good people of Russia.

Russia is a beautiful country. Huge nature. Greetings from México.

The risk of being detained, being imprisoned, being convicted begins after you return to the US after visiting Russia. So technically, he wasn't lying. 😂😂

In August I'm traveling to Belgrade, Serbia, then St Petersburg, then Moscow, then Istanbul, Turkey. I'm very excited to visit all 3 countries. Peace to all my fellow humans😊Noel from Reno, Nevada USA

They don’t want people to see how nice it actually is.

Go to Russia , No Graffiti, No Knife Crime , No Drug Dens , Women are beautiful, people are respectful, you feel safe, Go to America or the UK Capitals and you get , Graffiti, Beggers , Get Robbed , Stabbed , Walk passed Drug dens , Trains are disgusting, People are ignorant, stressed , Traffic is dangerous, The is the Western Life and they say Russia is 3rd World 😞👎
  • How to recognize propaganda: 1) When given a problem, fear rather than reason is used to present the solution. 2) When you're pressured into accepting the solution. 3) When you're not allowed to question the solution. 4) When the solution involves surrendering your freedoms. 5) When your eyes see one thing, but you are compelled to believe a different thing. 6) When the solution means giving small groups of people control over larger and larger things. 7) When dissenters are censored for refusing to accept the solution. 8) When dissenters are targeted by accusations from different sources, suddenly and all at once.

As an Australian I travelled 3 months across Russia staying in 21 towns and never once did anyone say they don’t like Americans. I found everyone peaceful warm and welcoming. This was Russian Democracy.
  • @SilkeFauve
I visited Russia in 1985 (yes, the Soviet era) and had a fantastic time. The people were friendly and curious about Americans, and I was thrilled to see the places I had read about in art history books and Russian literature. Ahhhh, the music and art . . . God bless Russia and the wonderful Russian people.
  • @1enoch194
My wife and are making plans to move to Russia by 2025. More importantly to be out of the United States by 2025. Stuff is about to go off and you won't want to be here when it does.

"Don't Visit Russia. Don't Use Crypto. Keep Your Money in US Dollars." - The State Dept's advice isn't so bad if you listen to them and do exactly the opposite. 😆

I'm traveling to Russia at the end of the month, can't wait to get there!
